28 of the Best Tie Dye Picks Right Now

From babies to boyfriends, we've got perfect picks for everyone in your life

Unless you’ve been laying super low-key the last few weeks, what I’m about to tell you will come as no surprise. Tie dye is back, big time, and IT. IS. EVERYWHERE. From DIY project ideas popping up across social media channels to the pages of our favorite online shopping destinations, this new but old trend is impossible to ignore. In the past, tie dye was reserved for the hippies and free spirits of the world, but these days that’s no longer the case, with everyone from luxury designers to fast fashion retailers showing colorfully bold items in their assortments.

The fun thing about this trend is that there are so many ways to tap into it. You can dip your toes into the colorful water and start with a pair of socks or a hair accessory, or you can dive right on in and don a full matching sweatsuit. Of course, some of our favorite designers are splattering their best bags with pops of color too. If you’re intrigued by the tie dye trend, you’re certainly not alone with Lyst reporting a 42% increase in searches for tie dye sweats over a 7-day period earlier this month. We scoured the internet to bring you the best tie dye picks for your budget, including items for the little kids and big kids (aka husbands and boyfriends!) in your life. See our picks below!

That Iphone case is gorgeous!

The Chanel Rainbow Boy I have seen in person in action. Sadly it was very underwhelming 🙁

Megs Mahoney Dusil

Really?! That’s a bummer about that Chanel bag!

Irene

Unfortunately I detest anything tie dyed.
These items are no exception.

Megs Mahoney Dusil

Ha! It’s not for everyone!

Clearly Coronavirus is affecting my brain. I thought the Versace bag said *Virus* Tie-Dye. Oops.

Megs Mahoney Dusil

HA! I think we are all seeing and feeling differently!

Susie-Q

Cool, groovy! The 60’s are calling and want their psychedelic tie dyes back!

Due to the Virus crisis, I’m just not feeling the need for fashion or shopping! Read an article Anna Wintour basically said, its time for drastic changes, how people view fashion going forward, I agree with her. The pandemic has made me think what’s important about my life, my family as we navigate what’s going to be the new normal. Buying bags that cost thousands of dollars or enjoying what you have accumulated already? Staying home and being safe supersedes fashion right now. Moving forward, I’m choosing family and praying we all can get through this pandemic safely!

I could have written this because it’s exactly how I feel. I have bags and I’ll keep them for my daughter and granddaughter to enjoy, but spending thousands of dollars on a new one feels abhorrent to me. I feel that this crisis made a lot of people reevaluate their priorities. I love my family and friends and always put their needs ahead of my own; but after I got Covid-19 and almost died everything changed in my life. I feel I was granted more time to be with the ones I love and nothing else matters. Please stay safe and healthy!

Slim

Thank you, so glad you and I are on the same track. Stay safe and healthy to you as well! God Bless!!

Megs Mahoney Dusil

Of course we feel the same about being safe and healthy! I tell every single person I know, all the time: family first. I think we can all look inside a bit more and see what really matters and make changes accordingly. Handbags aren’t there to solve problems, but they are there as something that makes us feel special and something that we love. They hold our important possessions, they are an outward sign of ourselves. I think it’s ok to like material things, and important to keep everything in perspective! It’s why I’ve been sharing bags from my collection on our site and social media, important to realize what we have versus getting more more more always!

I like the Loeffler Randall sandals for the summer (if we ever get to go outside again).
Has anyone else found that Golden Goose sneakers are super uncomfortable on the heel and ankle? For the price I paid for my GG sneakers, I was hoping for more comfort than they provided.

Megs Mahoney Dusil

I never splurged and bought any – I can’t justify the price on them! Even worse to hear they aren’t comfortable. They should be like walking on clouds!

Dave

The new capsule collection of Loewe Paula’s Ibiza is full of tie dye looks. I miss one of them!!!

Megs Mahoney Dusil

Gotta check them out!

Maya

I’m so glad I saved that Jérôme Dreyfuss bag from way back:))
