Since I got my hands on the Louis Vuitton Rose Des Vents, I’ve been on an orange kick.
If you think about it, the timing couldn’t be any better, considering we’re weeks away from the best time of year (read: summer)! To me, there’s no better way to welcome a new season, especially the warmest and brightest, with something equally as striking (aka a *new* orange bag).
As for the Louis Vuitton Rose Des Vents, I love that the bag sports the brand’s iconic orange hue. It’s also signed with a gold-tone LV padlock and a calf leather key bell, there’s a slender top handle for elbow carry and an adjustable strap for cross-body wear. Inside compartments and pockets make it a practical and sophisticated everyday bag, which is something I always take into consideration before making a purchase.
Believe it or not, the Louis Vuitton is the only brightly colored bag in my collection. I’d definitely love to add a few more (even though, realistically, I probably won’t add any new bags, especially an orange one, for a long time). But, as I always say, it doesn’t hurt to look.
Which one is your favorite, and what bag are you looking forward to wearing in the summertime? Do tell!
Time to take my orange Birkin 25 out of the closet!
Oh so fun! I just got the same bag brand new, in togo 35!!! <3 So excited to bring mine out.
Your orange Birkin shouldn’t have been in the closet–it deserves to be toted around everywhere all the time! (I just love orange!)
This is super cute! Love the orange!
I am glad you posted this. i was just thinking “where is the orange Birkin in this post?”
I’m honestly surprised there aren’t any orange Hermès bags on the list. It is there signature color after all.
Why did you guys link a cardcase and pillbox if this is about bags? I mean they’re still cute, just seems a little odd.
Lmao. That Burberry is LITERALLY a card holder on a chain. Hah. Burberry took wallet on chains WAY too literal.
I really don’t know why they called Louis Vuitton’s signature color orange? it is brown! Hermes is orange. PERIOD
Saffron (a kind of orange) is a historically important color in Louis Vuitton history used on trunks in the 1920s. When the brand overalled its packaging a few years ago, they ditched the brown boxes that had been introduced in the 2000s and opted for saffron boxes with cobalt blue ribbon.
This is great info. since I didn’t know their reasons were historical. I felt it was to thwart counterfeiters and protect their brand, but realized counterfeiters will always find a way to steal from fashion houses.
Here’s my latest baby, Birkin 30 in apricot
Here’s my Birkin 30 in (feu) orange as well! Hermes orange makes me smile 🙂 Love summer bags!
BV is stunning, I am big fan of orange. I have two Balenciaga oranges and a fendi, can’t wait to take them out
