Actually, I’ve seen this bag before, but I forgot about it. So, when I came across it again, all I can say is BRAVO Prada, BRAVO! Unfortunately, I’ve come across too many Prada bags that have missed the mark lately. In fact, they’ve missed the mark so much that I virtually stopped looking at them. Today folks, today is a different day.
This classy bag comes in both blue and red leather – so take your pick! I am more into the blue, but that is my preference. The tonal topstitching adds a hint of texture but it is the golden hardware that absolutely has me captivated. I love how the hardware runs from the handles onto the top of the bag so gracefully. The hardware isn’t too chunky nor is it too flimsy. More than anything, the bag is classic, it is timeless and it is elegant. Everything about it is luxurious and I would starting looking at Prada handbags more often if they kept up with their strengths. Buy through Bergdorf Goodman for $1495.
Actually, it comes in several colours and can be custom made to the owner! They can make it in any colour and leather, including exotics. They can also emboss names inside. Just enquire within a Prada store =)

That’s right, it does come in multiple colors, but if you are looking to buy it through Bergdorf Goodman online, you have red and blue to choose from. 🙂

The little slit is for the keychain that’s excluded from this picture. There’s a key ring on a leather lanyard and you can tuck the key ring into the slit. I just got it for my mother yesterday in red.

Love it! Saffiano leather is very, very durable. This classic style will never go out of fashion. I’d buy one if there were a Prada store nearby to have my name put inside it. Oh and the slit pocket in the corner is for keys I guess – the ones that come with the bag (I assume it has a lock on one of the sides? I’ve seen the slit pocket on Prada bags used for that purpose before).
love the color on my personal side i feel its abit like an intent to make a birkin style prada its a bag i would consider buying because its big and has small handles i love this effect im not a shoulder person but i dont love the exact styling they have had better bags!!!!

I totally agree with you here! I first saw this bag in Soho in September but then stopped myself from purchasing it because I had already spent too much money. Now in Vancouver it’s completely sold out!! Prada does great structured, simple leather totes.
Got this bag in black last summer in Toronto. I saw it in NYC, resisted and then gave in! Fantastic bag that is classic and will last years! The slit is for keys, there’s actually a little lanyard type thing with a key ring attached to one of the handle’s hardware hoops.

I just got it last weekend and trust me, you won’t regret it~The color I got was Ametista, kinda light purple, I think it’s in the middle of red and black which fits me perfectly. The weight you were asking, this bag is really light..

I just saw this bag at Neiman Marcus. They had black, brown, orange and a mustard color. I like the brown. It reminds me of the birkin. Very classy and very rich looking!! I want one but just got the Louis Vuitton Brea which is another elegant and classy bag. This will be my next purchase.

i have this bag in white and absolutely love it!!! its soo elegant and classy for work, for travelling and pretty much usable all year around….in white you can match with sprng & summer clothes while it adds a striking contrast to fall and winter clothes! its a gem!

anyone know what can be done if this bag gets scratched? some lady scratched my brand new blue tote with the wheels of her suitcase at the airport the other day (yes I know, first mistake was travelling with it in the first place), and the white scratches on the beautiful blue leather are an absolute eyesore. I’m so upset I could cry and Prada said there is nothing they can do 🙁 Help!!!
