Throwback Thursday: Celebs and Their Chloé Paddington Bags

The year was 2005. Carrie Underwood won American Idol, our very own PurseBlog was brand new, Destiny's Child decided to part ways and so did Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey. It was also the year that Chloé released its Paddington Bag. The Paddington was released with a fanfare unlike any other, amassing huge waitlists with purse lovers around the world clawing to get their hands on the handbag world's latest it-bag. Characterized by its iconic oversized lock (which is quite heavy and cumbersome), the Paddington remains one of the most iconic it-bags of all time, remaining an instantly recognizable piece of handbag history even 15 years after its original debut. While we've already taken a look back at other Chloé bags of the past, we thought it would be fun to dedicate this entire post to the beloved bag, which was spotted on some of the 2000s biggest stars.
