The Many Bags of Kim Kardashian, Part 2

Exotics galore and more!

A lot has changed since we last checked in with Mrs. Kim Kardashain-West(?). Love her, hate her, or hate to love her, it’s impossible to ignore that KKW’s handbag collection is incredible. In addition to the 3 kids Kardashian-West has added to her clan, she’s also acquired quite a few rare handbags to her impressive rotation since we last analyzed her very many carries. While KKW has reached the kind of stardom that boasts having a personal bag babysitter and is often photographed with only her phone in hand, when she is holding a bag, it’s almost always Hermès. We poured through over 150 pages of our photo agency’s snaps of her over the last 6 years since our last bag analysis and found that Kim K has scaled down her bags opting for tiny Kellys or Birkins over larger ones. She’s also a big fan of exotics and her massive collection is full of unique H finds. Check out the whole lot of bags below!

And we are paying attention to her why?

RZ

Her kids look nothing like her or Kanye, JS.

Sara

It’s important to leave kids out of discussions that involve their parents. I’m not a fan of either parent, but kids are sacred & need to be immune from public scrutiny because they are innocents in their parent’s life choices.

Ldlou

Why would they? The kids haven’t had a ton of plastic surgery/fillers/Botox yet to completely change their faces.

shopper

Kim doesn’t even look like Kim…

Eos

You made me laugh.

Chassures74

I beg to differ. North (the oldest, and only name I know) looks a lot like Kanye. I knew of the 2nd one (a boy, I believe), but I just recently found out they had several others.

fran123

I agree. North in the first pic looks soo much like Kanye. I think its funny how all their kids look like the other parent. Her younger two kids don’t look like either of them IMO. but they are still babies, so who knows. https://www.elle.com/uk/life-and-culture/culture/articles/g32620/kardashian-grandchildren-list/

I would too, If I made 1 million $ per post on Instagram.. I would rather see real people with real style.. Celebs are more often than not gifted things..

Bertie Riphagen

While Hermes makes beautiful bags I feel Kim carrying them is strictly to show what she can afford not what goes with her outfit or a personal choice for the day. There is a difference between affording fashion and having style.

Never Enough

The bags are interesting and varied, but the outfits command more attention. More to the effect of who dresses her and where do they find clothes to fit her cartoonish shape?

Chassures74

The boots, in photo 2, stole my heart!?

Bags are beautiful, but with many of the outfits, it’s overkill. Exotic bags, with different colors/variations of exotic coats, tops, pants? NO!

kate

As a mother of young kids, I feel empathy for the kids on the post here because they didn’t choose to have their pictures posted on a blog, especially where their mother will be (rightfully so) criticized and ridiculed by viewers for her poor life choices. I already see snarky comments about the kids regarding plastic surgery and them not resembling either parent. Maybe we can blur the kids faces?

Sparky

True the children don’t have a choice but parents do. All the Kardashians and Jenners (shamelessly) push their children in front of the camera using them to further market the family brand. Blurring out the children’s faces on this one blog seems pointless to me.

L W

Criticised and ridiculed rightfully so? She is a human being. No one has a right to ridicule another human and claim its rightful. ?????

Kenzie

Disagreeing, debating and discourse is valid, especially in the public sphere, which blogs are part of.

L W

Disagreeing, debating and discourse may well be valid on a blog. I don’t believe ridiculing another human being (in particular someone you have never met or had a chance to actually get to know in real life) and claiming it to be rightful is valid. But hey each to their own. Everyone has their own standards. Mine doesn’t involve ridiculing people and claiming it to be rightful. Or judging successful peoples life choices.

Kenzie

Yes, of course she’s a human being (otherwise I doubt she would be featured on this purse blog), but she’s also a public figure. She made it her life’s duty to be a public figure and achieved this status and a VERY luxurious multi-millionaire lifestyle off of us- ordinary civilians who have mass-consumed her images in publications and on TV (and business collaborations and her own businesses). She has become so globally famous and wealthy (during a time of stark growing wealth inequality) that her entire family is utterly unavoidable, no matter if you ever watched her sex tape nor her reality TV show. If someone has achieved a level of wealth that most people can never come close to off of those very same people- our neighbors, friends, family and even ourselves, then it is definitely “valid” for me or anyone to analyze, judge, and openly criticize it. I understand that your sentiment is based off of a conception of “kindness,” but I will not apologize for being a critical thinker, having opinions and vocalizing them.

L W

The point you’ve missed is ‘ridiculed’ and claiming its ‘rightful’. ????? Whatever excuses you have, like claiming its ‘critical thinking’, well that’s fine and dandy. I still think ridiculing a human being and claiming its rightful is a pretty appalling trait. Each to their own.

Kenzie

Then you’ve missed my point that “ridiculed” is, indeed, “rightful,” when a public figure has made her fame and money off of us, the people and how we consume. ????? You’re the one who has excuses for not being a “critical thinker.” I also have some juicy judgements and choice words for Harvey Weinstein, but he is a human being, so you won’t think they’re valid.

L W

I don’t think anything you’re saying is valid actually. I don’t think there’s any validity in people like you being plain nasty and justifying it in some pathetic way and claiming it’s “rightful”. But as I said. Each to their own. Bye Felicia.

Kenzie

Likewise, I don’t view any of your points are valid. This is because all of your points are based on your feelings/personally-derived opinions, which are not objective. Furthermore, your argument doesn’t take context into account. Your feelings would hold more water if we’re talking about “ridiculing” an ordinary civilian, but we are talking about one of the most famous and wealthy public figures in the world. Since public figures live by different rules than ordinary civilians, the context of judgements that they live by are also different. I know that you’re not going to listen to any reason or facts, but you would benefit from a college level Logic course. It will help make your reasoning skills and ability to build arguments stronger. If you had stronger arguments, and had the cognitive ability to build on them (instead of repeating the same points over and over again), then you wouldn’t have to rely on insults like “pathetic” or condescending phrases like “bye Felicia.” These are signs of a sore loser.

Lori

I don’t even know why I looked at this post. Waste of my precious time. Yuk.

Ditto

notazealiabanks

It is just boring to see how 95% of these bags are Hermès, but I really missed these “Many Bags of” posts and hope to see a lot more soon!

Gigi

Love her or hate her, she has great bags. I love the little black Kelly!

Shopper

Swallowed by an anaconda in #16… ??

Megan

All that money but no sense of style.

Paris

The problem is that she is oversaturated in the media, but for what? She has money and carries nice bags, but what else does she have of value? She got her foot in the door for a sex tape that was “accidentally” released. Combine that with a good agent and she capitulated to “fame”. Women have done this for centuries, but most have a marketable talent as well as self respect.

Anyone can like her or leave her, but to fully appreciate her and her various material items is difficult since she has a strong need to exploit herself and her family to maintain relevancy. Perhaps she’ll soon fade into the background as her show is coming to an end.

Vlad Dusil

I’ve been impressed by KKW’s meteoric rise to fame for years. She’s the first person who realized that you can strengthen your brand by people disliking you. Since then, many others have come who copied her approach, and faded away. In the meanwhile, KKW has remained relevant (though she’s likely past her peak) and will continue to remain relevant to modern celebrity culture for years to come.

I don’t like her or dislike her. I ran into her once at Barry’s Bootcamp in NYC years ago and noted that she was much shorter than I imagined.

Paris

I don’t agree, but I appreciate our difference of opinion. She “rose to fame” because she chose to exploit her body, via the sex tape, much like her friend “Paris Hilton” whose sex tape was also “accidentally released”. I feel she is “disliked” because of her values and morals, but I don’t agree that she “strengthened her brand by people disliking her”. Typically, people don’t support a brand if they dislike it or who it represents. I also don’t believe that she will “continue to remain relevant to modern celebrity culture for years to come” because no one maintains relevant for years; the public grows tired and loses interest in “celebrities” and they eventually fade into history. I feel she’ll do the same and it’s an interesting discussion.

Aoedele

The women owns/runs, independently, several extremely successful businesses yet people are still harping about her “sex tape” from what, 15+ years ago? Lol, move on already, she has. I’m a big fan of anything Hermes Kelly…one day.

Gail Schoenbach

Ok. I am one who hates (don’t like that
word) her and loves her but I don’t really like loving hating her or anyone for that matter. I do love her handbags and purseblog. Does having all that stuff really make someone happy? Maybe for her. Life is much more than a closet of very tasteless overpowering clothing for her beautiful bags. The money outfit? Ugh! The outfit with the black bra and Prada purse? Gross. I love seeing her with her kids and hope she continues with her education and law studies. Also, give some of those xmas gifts back from Kanye for charity and let your kids and the world see what you can do outside of your closet.

Londoncalling

I wonder what these women will look like 20 years from now when all that the cosmetic surgery and treatments explode.

Kenzie

She should have worn that money outfit to the “camp”-themed Met Gala. It’s way more appropriate than the outfit that she actually wore to the event.

Nig

How much does it cost to pay for just quick fix with this Tran???? or plastic fake??

Luke Trogdon

I have the black Prada nylon she’s carrying, got it off of fashionphile for $200. But besides that, Leave the woman alone I’ve never saw so many women hate someone so much. I thought y’all women were supposed to stick together and support one another. But instead y’all look like a bunch of jealous drama obsessed high schoolers. Alot of the trends y’all wear come from her just saying.
