It’s been quite the journey for me with PurseBlog, and over the past nine years, I’ve amassed quite the bag collection. I like to travel when I can and I always take a few bags with me on my trips. We thought it would be fun to round up some photos of my bags and the places I’ve taken them on this journey we call life.
Make sure you keep up with my bags and my travels by following us on Instagram!
Let’s start off with my Blue Jean baby, my 30 cm Hermes Birkin. I’ve carried her many places, but along the waterways of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, she really stood out.
I love Oscar de la Renta clothing, but his bags are pretty good too. These are two of my favorite that I took with me to Vermont. Shop more Oscar de la Renta here.
Fall is my favorite time of year by far, so Vlad and I take as many trips as we can to see the foliage. This is my Rebecca Minkoff bag in New Hampshire. See more Rebecca Minkoff this way.
Valentino Rockstud is one of my favorite collections, and these are my matching Valentino Rockstud Rouge Bag and Shoes in Florence, Italy.
It might still be in my borough of residence, but I had to add this photo of my Celine Trapeze shot in West Village, one of my favorite slices of NYC.
At a chic party for LuisaViaRoma in the Garden of Boboli in Florence, Italy, I carried my yellow and silver Proenza Schouler clutch. Pick up more Proenza via Net-a-Porter.
In Milan, Italy, the restaurants love handbags as much as I do, so they have chic bag holders so you don’t have to place your bag on the ground. This was very important for my white Salvatore Ferragamo bag. Score yourself some Ferragamo of your own via Neiman Marcus.
I’m absolutely obsessed with this Gucci Disco bag and it fit in perfectly at the Gucci Museum in Florence, Italy. See the rest of Gucci’s collection here.
Sometimes you just need to drive around your own area. This is a shot from the back of our car, and I was loving both my Chanel espadrilles and Chanel Reissue.
As a former (and forever) Ohio State Buckeye, we try to get back to one football game every fall. My Hermes Birkin and Hermes Wallet were photographed just before Halloween.
We went to this amazing farm in Pennsylvania, and I loved carrying my Gucci Lady Stirrup bag. Get your Gucci on here.
I love touring NYC; there are so many little corners that I can explore. This is my Celine Luggage Tote in cobalt blue in front of the New York Public Library.
The Rebecca Minkoff Francoise Tote seen in New Hampshire while apple picking. Shop more of this collection via Rebecca Minkoff.
Playing peek-a-boo with my Balenciaga Giant City in Anthracite in Lake Placid, NY on a ski trip. Snag some Balenciaga of your own via Neiman Marcus.
Before we moved to NYC, we made a trip here to visit and I had my trifecta of gorgeous Hermes bags in the Plaza Hotel.
Why carry one bag on vacation when you can carry two? This is a Rebecca Minkoff MAM and Nancy Gonzalez Crocodile bag in Key West, Florida. See more of Rebecca Minkoff’s collection here, and Nancy Gonzalez’s collection via Neiman Marcus.
I’m obsessed with my black Hermes Birkin – this shot was taken in Montreal, Canada.
My Kate Spade New York tote accompanied me on my trip to Connecticut, and I shot this in a field. Shop Kate Spade via Nordstrom
You’ve heard both Amanda and I say we are football fans, and I spend most Saturdays in the fall attending my brother’s college football games. This Rebecca Minkoff was shot on the Lehigh field in Pennsylvania. See more Rebecca Minkoff’s collection here.
One of my favorite places to visit is Providence, Rhode Island, and this is a shot of me with my Balenciaga Laptop Case. Shop more from the designer via Neiman Marcus.
Vlad and I rented a car and drove up the Pacific Coast Highway from Los Angeles to San Francisco, and I carried my python Salvatore Ferragamo bag close during our journey. Shop more Ferragamo via Neiman Marcus.
Back on the beaches of South Florida, I carried my Hermes Kelly filled with pouches from Proenza Schouler and Gerard Darel. Pick up some Proenza Schouler this way.
One of my favorite places in NYC – here is my Louis Vuitton Speedy on the High Line.
Speaking of favorite spots, Vlad and I adore the Bahamas. I carried my perfectly-suited-for-the-beach Balenciaga Straw Tote. See more Balenciaga here.
A little Marilyn and my Rebecca Minkoff Boyfriend Pouch outside of a quaint theatre in Key West, Florida. Shop more Rebecca Minkoff this way.
I love hotels, and the Plaza Hotel in NYC is just as magical as the stories say. What better bag is there to carry there than an Hermes Birkin?
The ocean in the Bahamas is stunning, and whenever we go all I can do is stare off into the distance. My Salvatore Ferragamo bag complimented the scenery perfectly. Find more Ferragamo at Neiman Marcus.
I got this Bottega Veneta Initials Tote in Milan, Italy but here you can see it on Lake Eerie. Buy Bottega via Net-a-Porter.
I may live in the city, but I have quite a bit of country in me. We snapped my Hermes Evelyn against a barn door in Northeast Ohio.
The Purse Forum collaborated with Rebecca Minkoff to make the Darcy, and here she is in all her glory at a farm in Ohio. Shop Rebecca Minkoff via her website.
I’m super excited about Mackage bags, and I’ve been trying out a bunch of them. This time you see my Mackage bag over Chagrin Falls, Ohio. See the full Mackage collection here.
The view in NYC is amazing, as is my Gucci Bamboo Shopper. Grab some Gucci this way.
Um, drool. Yes, I drool over my own bag, my Proenza Schouler Crocodile PS1. This shot was taken in California.
There’s no place like home. NYC is my home now, but the home I grew up in has an amazing backyard and pool which I spent a ton of time at. Check out my Rebecca Minkoff bag on the deck. Shop it here.
A lot of traveling means a lot of airports. Frankfurt has one of the nicest lounges (shout out to Lufthansa), and while we waited for our connection in Germany, I gave my stunning Celine Triptyque a little love.
A rose garden and Chanel bag. This was taken at a chic New York venue.
Our friends had a wedding at a beautiful farm in Ohio, and I took a photo of my L.K. Bennett London bag there. Look at more L.K. this way.
I always stop to take in what’s around me, this is my Tiffany’s Tote in New Jersey.

Oh Boy, I love my Chanel Boy and NYC.
When we went to Las Vegas we stopped by the Hoover Dam and that was a great photo opp for my lovely Juicy Couture tote. Shop their bags via Juicy Couture.
If you follow my Instagram, you know I love to eat. I spend a lot of time at breakfast meetings, and this was one of those times in NYC with my Hermes Birkin.
The Halloween candy jar is the place for my Hermes Alligator Wallet.
One of the most historical and beautiful places I’ve been to is Florence, and I photographed my Celine Trio while having breakfast along the Arno.
I took a ride on the ferris wheel with my Botkier bag in Coney Island. Buy more Botkier via Shopbop.
What’s better than one bag? Two bags. My Hermes Evelyn and Salvatore Ferragamo tote caught some sun in Miami Beach.
I am loving the Hermes bag #drooling
I love all your bags! I wish I own a collection like this one day.

Just curious, do you use a base shaper/purse organizer for your LV Speedy?
Megs and Vlad, great pics as always, but that is an RM studded MAM not MAC 🙂 in Key West.
Doh! Yes, I messed up my letters, thanks for pointing it out 🙂

Can’t pick a fave of yours, beautiful taste.
OMG I think I love you more knowing that you not only walk the walk, but talk the talk. It’s refreshing to see such a fabulous collection from a “regular gal”. You should do some TMB features of any fabulous women you know with gorgeous collections. I always find myself connecting more with non celebrity features – makes the success feel…attainable.
Thank you for taking our wishes to heart; what a wonderful, much anticipated post. Wish you loads more travel and fab handbags.
I love every piece of your collection, your style must be very sophisticated. Bravo!
“GA-THUNK!” You hear that? That’s the sound of my jaw hitting the ground. You have literally got the perfect bag collection. And the photography. Simply to die for. In all honesty, your collection rivals, and probably surpasses quite a few “The Many Bags Of…” features here.
As a fellow bag lover, I salute you!

Hi Megs, three questions:
Your Gucci bamboo shopper looks black, do you have a black one too?
What is the name of the white and brown ferragamo satchel? Is it still available? It’s really lovely.
What is the size of your Chanel Reissue? Is it a 2.55?
Thank you for the answers.
