Ted Baker has always been on my handbag radar, I find the designs to be so beautiful, on-trend, and best of all, budget-friendly. The British luxury brand is predominantly known for its clothing, which is certainly lovely, but per usual I’ve been gravitating towards Ted Baker bags. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m a serial online shopper, and when I’m doing my rounds I always find myself admiring Ted Baker bags.
Ted Baker has been around for just over 30 years, launching its first store in 1988. The idea behind Ted Baker actually came to the brand’s namesake while he was out fishing, and a year later Ted Baker opened its door in Glasgow, Scotland. Ted Baker developed the brand with the intention of building a global brand, and from the time of the inception of his idea to today, the brand has expanded and evolved into the globally successful company that we know today.
I think the predominant reason I am such a fan of the brand is that they strike a balance between luxury and accessibility. The designs are high end, trendy, and chic, yet the price point remains fantastic. The older I get, the more I realize that good design and interesting details will always be more important than being “the most expensive”. For years, I equated expensive with fashionable, and that is simply just not true.
Ted Baker has some amazing clothing and shoes that you should check out if you’re looking to update your wardrobe, but I have rounded up my favorite bags from the brand below. If you’re itching for a new bag and want to add a stylish handbag to your arsenal for the fall, I highly recommend a Ted Baker bag!
OMG I need that Louissa shoulder bag BAAAHHHDDDD!
I don’t hate any of these bags but they all look like bags inspired by other brands.
They are inexpensive, but are they well made? Do they have longevity? I’ve never seen one in person.
Only have sweet feelings for the Solarr Half Moon bag! The other are really kind of derivative of other well known brands that did them better. The flip up handle detail on the buckets reminds me of a garden seat my mom used to have…no, not feeling that one at all.
It’s a shame you chose to feature only the ugly Ted baker bags. Their other bag designs are significantly better.
