It seems as though many handbag lovers think Sonia Rykeil handbags are too much. I can understand this because there is always a lot going on with Sonia Rykiel bags. However, I am a huge fan. There was quite a bit of controversy when it came to the Sonia Rykiel Dita Shoulder Bag: I loved it, most others hated it. The other thing about these bags is that they usually come with a large price tag. So, when I came across the Sonia by Sonia Rykiel line, I couldn’t wait to see more.

The Sonia by Sonia Rykiel Studded Canvas Shoulder Bag is actually a fairly cute canvas bag with a hint of glam. The soft grey cotton-canvas shoulder bag has a bit of sparkle from several silver-tone pyramid studs. I thought the black grosgrain bow was a bit out of place, but it’s not a make or break kind of detail. When you look into the bag you will find animal print lining which is always fun. This isn’t my favorite canvas bag out on the market, but it certainly isn’t bad for day to day use. Buy through Net-a-Porter for $365.
Move the bow over to the other strap and this is a nice bag.
This bag is really cute, but I have become a little weary of designers charging insane prices for canvas handbags. Even with the lining, grosgrain ribbon, and pyramid studs, it’s still a bit pricey.
