Gold hardware has its place; I have no problem admitting that. Usually, though, it’s place is not on the bags I want to carry. The first version of the Studded Devote had a decidedly glam rock edge to it with rows of shiny gilded studs covering a huge amount of the leather’s surface, and I loved it, just not for me. It’s a look, and but it’s not MY look.
And this? Well, this is totally my look. Black leather and shiny gunmetal studs? This has “Amanda” written all over it, particularly since the shape is so functional and perfect for an everyday bag. Gunmetal, black, and studs are so incredibly key for fall accessory looks that Rebecca Minkoff couldn’t have produced this bag with dark hardware at a better time.
