I thought we had seen Rebecca Minkoff‘s popular Morning After and Morning After Mini Bags in just about every iteration you can think of – studded, embossed, bicolor, bimaterial, zippered, riveted – but it looks as though there was one option that we missed – quilted. Luckily for us, the fine folks at RM didn’t forget about it, and we’re here to present the Rebecca Minkoff Quilted Morning After Mini Bag
When done correctly, quilting imparts a wonderful sense of depth and texture onto a bag, and Minkoff has done well with this version of the bag that made her famous. The flat leather accents provide a nice visual alternative to the quilting, and the sparse domed studs add to the on-trend military feel of this bag.
The functional delights of this particular shape are well-documented, and its won Minkoff a lot of fans. This iteration isn’t self-conscious or over-designed, and it’ll only look better as the leather softens up and starts to sag. The gold hardware is what really makes it, though – if silver had been chosen or the studs forgone entirely, it wouldn’t be nearly the bag that it is. Buy through Zappos for $534.
This actually jumped out at me. It is done perfectly, every element works together and it is spot-on trend.
The gold hardware does make this bag. Nicely done.
This is my favorite Minkoff bag. I have a neon pink mini with a crossbody strap and love it. I really want a full size one just like that. Love the olive color because it will go with everything.
The only thing is that I have a hard time finding the Rebecca Minkoff bags in stores.
This bag is disgusting.
Oh my goodness<3 RM I love almost every version of MAB and this is gorgeous.
Oh this is nice! She did a great job on this! Very nice indeed!
I guess it is just me, but I feel the MA bag in all its permutations is one of the more boring-looking bags I have seen (so sorry, JMO)
