Marc by Marc Jacobs mixes greens for a fun clutch

Every time I see a bag like the Marc by Marc Jacobs Tangramarama Anna Clutch for the first time, I get a little bit irritated. Not because I don’t like it; on the contrary, I love it. But seeing an interesting, inventive, highly functional bag like this come from the brand makes me wonder why more of its bags can’t be this great.

Don’t get me wrong, most of MbMJ’s bags are functional and reasonably priced. But this clutch has a little bit more going for it in the way of stand-out style, and the line’s accessories could use some of that across the board.

With style comes a certain amount of market narrowing, though, and this much 70s-flavored green probably isn’t in the wardrobe cards for everyone. If you’re a little adventurous and like to play with color, though, this bag would make a fantastic addition to your already-interesting personal style. I’m seriously considering adding it to my own collection. Buy through ShopBop for $328.

Love the design! Does this come in other colours?

I completely agree! I wish that MBMJ things had more things that had a stand-out style to it. That would just be lovely! MBMJ has some really nice things but it wouldn’t hurt to throw in a bit more quirk!

I love this clutch! I had been looking at it for a few days. I did find it in a different colorway on the Marc Jacobs website.

Sorry, but I do not like a single thing in this clutch.

Great choice, Amanda. I have been looking at this bag for the past weekend. Unfortunately, my wardrobe consists of very basic items – due to budget restrictions – I am not sure when to wear this one. Nevertheless, I love this clutch.

Ahh! This is so cute! Especially with the knotted belt trend lately. Love it!
