Even though our interests tend to linger at the top end of the handbag price continuum, those of us here at PurseBlog consider ourselves practical people. (Sometimes.) An extremely fancy bag isn’t always in the financial cards, and for plenty of people who adore fashion, it’s completely unimaginable. As casually as bag lovers sometimes talk about it (us included), $2,000 is a lot of money for nearly everyone.
By that same token, $250 isn’t objectively cheap, either, but it’s a price level at which a beautiful, all-leather bag is accessible to far more people. With that in mind, we set out to find over two dozen of the best handbags on the internet that will still keep you firmly in the lower three figures. Check out our finds below.
I don’t even like bucket bags but I love the J Crew!
I just bought it since they have 30% off right now. Less than $100 dollars!
Isn’t it pretty? It’s my favorite of the bunch–a really great spring weekend bag.
Definitely! This bag is so “springy” and cute.
Wow – longer list than expected, with lots of variety, some new-to-me brands, and some real finds. Great post – thank you!
I’m glad you enjoyed it! I really tried to go off the beaten path a bit to find some gems we might not otherwise encounter. There was more out there than even I expected!
Nice bags but unfortunately most of these are minis.
Some very cute bags- thanks for sharing!
The Monserat tote is cute. Does anyone know when the ShopBop Friends & Family is?

That Dooney is gorgeous. I have a vintage one in navy. I would
I’ve to have this color.
Great post! This is the price range where I do a lot of my shopping and it’s always nice to see some of my favorite brands being featured; Liebeskind leathers are beautiful and the craftsmanship is excellent. The brand I’d love to see sold in Europe is Lodis, the prices are great and designs, timeless.
I wish more posts featuring bags under $400 (that are not all minis) and SLG under $200 would follow! =)
Brilliant post! There are certainly some lovely bags here and great prices!
I Think you forgot about the Trussardi bag under that price, but is just my opinion, as Italian. I have one and is really good manufacture.
Some new to me brands! Great list. I love to look at luxury bags but it’s nice to know about bags I might get to enjoy buying more often. Thanks!
