Currently Coveting: Stella McCartney Superhero Collection

I’m not a huge Stella McCartney handbag fan. I’ve always loved different aspects of her accessories line, but I tend to find her clothing much more appealing than her bags. Much of that’s because I carry leather bags, and when I look at Stella’s line of vegan bags, there has never been an item that really stands out to me. That is, until now.

The Stella McCartney Superhero Collection has been on my radar for a little while now, and I’m finding myself itching to purchase one. From an everyday tote to a shoulder bag to a zip clutch, Stella McCartney has added a superhero motif that I’m loving. I don’t follow comics, but I asked Vlad what this superhero looks like, and he said it resembled the original Wolverine.

I truly love seeing designers add a little pizazz and novelty to their bags. Much of that’s because I own plenty of ‘plain’ bags, and seeing something different always lures me in, but for me, this is the first time Stella has me wanting to purchase. Also, the prices for this collection are a bit more affordable, compared to the Falabella, which is the most well-know bag from McCartney. Prices are from $540 to $1,090 via Neiman Marcus.
