If you’ve ever tried to browse the offerings on Louis Vuitton‘s website, you know that the setup is not exactly user-friendly. There’s no section where you can find new arrivals, the site doesn’t organize anything by seasonal collections, product thumbnails load slowly–it’s almost like the brand wants you to complete a digital obstacle course before you’re allowed to buy anything. That makes it hard to know when a new design has been released, which is too bad, because there are a bunch of great, relatively recent debuts available on the brand’s website right now.
We took the long scroll through the site’s biggest product category and found a bunch of bags worth seeing. Some of the bags below are brand new, while others are new sizes or fabrications of bags that you might recognize. In all likelihood, at least one or two have been around longer and we’ve just never come across them before in our trips through LV’s byzantine e-commerce system. But hey, maybe those will be new for you, too. Either way, check out some of our favorites below.
I really like the Venus bag. I like that these bags are new but the style stays true to what’s expected from LV.
What a great opportunity. Thanks for sharing. I totally believe you.
Some of these bags have been released months ago…
Yes! As I explained in the post, some of these are brand new, others are just fairly new. Because Louis Vuitton’s website is so difficult to sort through and has no new arrivals section, it can be difficult to tell how long anything’s been out and even a fairly frequent visitor may miss things, so we wanted to highlight some recent things we noticed.
The Mabillon is an old bag. For some reason it is not a popular bag among the LV community. I’ve had mine for at least two years. It’s a simple casual bag that is ideal for crossbody wear. I remember this bag clearly because shortly after I bought it I had an issue with the strap. It was returned and exchanged for a new one. After this bag I went on to purchase three more bags. One of the three bags broke on its 4th use. LV would not replace but offered to repair. At this moment I lost my love for LV. I haven’t even bothered to pick up the repaired bag. Maybe I’ll make that my goal this werkend.
You are right about the lack of a “new arrival” section on the website. I wonder why they never created one. It must be on purpose I guess.
Yeah, prob a marketing tactic to force you to look through EVERYTHING.
I like the Junot and One Handle bags. The rest kind of look like things that the already have just slightly different. Meh.
I check their website frequently and have not seen all of these. Thank you for the excellent LV detective work!
I CAN’T believe I’m saying this about LV – but I like them ALL – except for 5 and 12.
LOVE LOVE LOVE #3. That’s an awesome bag!
I looked through all of these, and liked/loved them ALL too!
I own the Flandrin and absolutely love it!
3, 6, and 12 are stunning!
LV is finally doing silver hardware! Nice bags
