Louis Vuitton is known for a lot of things, and of course the first thing that comes to mind for most is the brand’s classic Monogram canvas. It’s arguably one of the most iconic Monogram prints in all of fashion, with a rich, storied history. The brand’s bags are highly covetable, with many new styles debuting and immediately selling out, resulting in waitlists around the world. Take for example the Pochette Metis, and of course the newly introduced Multi-Pochette. With the brand recognition and customer loyalty that they have, Louis Vuitton’s presence in the market isn’t going anywhere.
One thing that brand loyalists can count on are seasonal capsule collections that often present a new take on some of the brand’s most covetable bags. This winter, creative director Nicolas Ghesquière partnered with Riot Games to design a collection inspired by the video game League of Legends. The collaboration, dubbed LVxLoL, features some of the brand’s fan favorite bags like the Neverfull, Petite Boîte Chapeau Souple, and the Mini Palm Springs Backpack. Classic monogram gets a camouflage makeover in this collection, and though an unlikely partnership, the bags are unique and ultra-cool. Sure to be the most wanted styles, this collaboration features a micro, bracelet version of the beloved Palm Springs Backpack ($730) as well as tiny Speedy BB ($1,630). The entire collection is available for pre-order now via Louis Vuitton, though the Speedy BB seems to already be out of stock.
Ha! My close friend who does not care for fashion but loves LoL broke the news of this launch to me this morning, hours before PB did. A first time for everything 🙂
It’s also been discussed on Purse Forum for a couple of weeks already! 🙂
As a gamer I can say this looks stupid and tacky and super lame!
I’m not a gamer, but I really like this collection. I wouldn’t mind having one of those t-shirts and the silver jacket.
Love the MM neverfull…
some of the workout pieces look very cool. i’m curious to know how many actual gamers will flock LV to buy these items.
is it just me or does it feel like LV womenswear is trying so hard to stay as cool as LV menswear?
maybe i’m just over the maximalist trend now -_-
One yr ago I chose to depart my last job and it altered my entire life … I began freelancing on-line, above a site I discovered over net , several hours every day , and my earnings now is much much more then it had been in my last project … My last month pay was for Nine thousand dollars… The very best thing about this is that now I have more spare time for my nearest and dearest . This is exactly what I do… earn10keachmonth.gxjo.com
