Louis Vuitton‘s signature monogram has been revamped and altered throughout the brand’s iconic history to keep it feeling fresh and relevant, and Fall 2016 brings with it yet another step in the Monogram Canvas evolution. The new World Tour collection features LV’s take on classic hotel stickers atop the brand’s signature material, all inspired by creative director Nicholas Ghesquiere’s world travels.
Our PurseForum members were the first to show off the pieces from the brand’s new collection. While the hotel stickers make obvious sense on the brand’s travel-friendly bags like the Keepall, Pégase Légère 55 and Palm Springs backpack, the whimsical add-ons go far beyond the brand’s luggage. They also appear on various monogram icons like the Alma, Neverfull and Speedy bags, as well as small accessories like wallets and bag charms. If the monogram print isn’t for you, don’t fret, because you’ll also find these stickers atop Epi leather Twist bags.
You can shop all the pieces from the World Tour collection below, and we would love to hear your thoughts on the latest evolution of the classic monogram print.
I love bag charm and key holder number 14!
I love how they paired black straps with the LV monogram print on the Neverfull
I didn’t like this collection. I think that it could have been cool, but it looks cartoonish. I do, however, like the bag charms and the Petite Malle.
I agree it could have been better. The sticker designs could have been more refined but I think some of the pieces do work: the key chains are great, the Neverfull, the Petite Malle, the carry-on, the scarf.
It look like they just put a giveaway sticker on it…
The bag charms are cute especially 4 and 6 — the bags with the stickers, not so much.
This collection has already been sold out in many European countries especially the U.K., a bit late to post about it lol.
Love the Flamingo bag charm. Not a huge fan of the bags, however.
Sorry, the LV fake travel stickers just look tacky and lame. Too bad they didn’t do a deal with some of the great classic hotels of the world (Raffles in Singapore and the Ritz in Paris come to mind) and license the printing of their real vintage hotel sticker designs instead. Would have been much classier.
I already saw some fakes of these bags online. TBH the simpler the better for me as long as they’re authenTic.’lol
Not loving the Starsky & Hutch car on the bag! I just keep hearing “Huggy Bear” calling it a big red tomato with a cheap white stripe … yes, I’m dating myself. In general, it (the stickers) just looks tacky.
