Louis Vuitton is, by necessity, a show full of handbags every season. Creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere does far more that’s just as worthy of note, of course, but LV is, first and foremost, a brand concerned with its leather goods. For Spring 2016, everything appears to be cruising easily on the path Ghesquiere set for the brand from day one.
There are some new shapes in this collection, but no major new launches; instead, Ghesquiere builds momentum on the things he’s already established at the house, as well as some of the brand’s classics. Make sure you look out for the excellent, cheeky chain pattern that plays on both 80s silks and Vuitton’s monogram motifs in particular.

Right now are there are 3 bags that I would LOVE to get from LV. This has just added to that number. I’m going to have to ban myself from this blog!
You seems like you do not have any taste at all. Boring collection and nothing inspiring. Very disappointing collection indeed. Cheers.
Ending your comment with “cheers” doesn’t make it any less distasteful and needlessly confrontational. Toodles.
LOL, let’s all bow down to the Supreme Arbiter of Purses /sarcasm
Wow! What’s with the nasty response to a fellow poster? I think your comment showed no taste.
i love slide 18! so cute!
A thousand times much better than Chanel.
Every single Chanel show has been blah for me.
I like both LV and Chanel. I don’t think there is any need to compare them. I think they have each a distinct point of view. But to each his own.
I’ve been pretty vocal on the forum about not being a fan of LV. But, I see a lot to like in this collection. #16 & #30 are TDF! Love the fun of #23. But the wow for me are the offset drawstring bags. I’m not sold yet but I’m really intrigued and I love seeing a new silhouette in bags. I’m going to have to take a peek at these in person.
So, while I’m not a huge fan of the puffy diamond quilts and don’t like the pastel / tie dye looking bags, I’m impressed with this line. Kudos.
Same here. Not a fan of LV, but I like many of the bags in this collection!
I’m not a fan of LV at all, but I do very much like slide 32!
Wow, I feel like the high end purses are getting further and further away from my grasp, either because of prohibitive cost or lack of practicality. I have a good collection of all the big names, except Hermes (Kardashians), but the LVs, Fendis, and Chanels at $4-$5000 a pop are just beyond. Many of them are beautiful, but not something to carry that often. I guess we will just have to watch celebrities carry these bags.
These are all pretty interesting bags, and they will be carried by the celebs for sure. I wonder what the pleated sling bags are made of.
I like #2,5 and 11
Slide 25 is really the only one that caught my eye along with the monogram tassels. Some of those bags are giving me a Chanel Boy vibe. Curious to see how many of them actually make it in stores.
slide 13 looks like a bag with telephone cords. It appeals to the telephone operator in me.

That petite Malle seem to grow on me.
I would have never been caught dead with an LV bag, I’ve always thought they were tacky but I have to admit that I’m starting to warm up to the new logo and designs:))
