If you’ve been paying any attention at all to the evolution of Louis Vuitton under the creative direction of Nicolas Ghesquiere, then none of the new bags on the brand’s Fall 2017 runway in Paris should have come as any surprise to you. This was a collection that built out variations of the Vuitton’s existing, successful bag ideas instead of establishing any new themes or dropping any new blockbusters.
The collection did include one all-new bag, which was a sharp-cornered day satchel with double top handles and a front lock. It was my least favorite part of the new collection–something about the trim and proportions made it feel vaguely like something you buy from a cart at the mall. The new top handle version of the City Steamer made up for it, though, as did all the glittery little Petite Malle clutches. Check out all the bags from the show below.

Not a fan of the Speedy by NG. I think i like his bag’s designs more than his variations on Vuitton’s icons.
the pochette Metis is so good without too much monogram. The city Steamer is also a favorite of mine. It’s actually a quite underrated bag IMO.
Loving the structured Speedys. The Twist and the Petite Mailles are forever on my wishlist. Not a bad collection but still not enough for me to think that anything is a must-have.
I think you mean “precedent” not “precent” in the headline…
Was just gonna write this, LOL
Why would you look at the steamer and decide it needed a gaudy gold chain?
are those bruises all over #12’s arm?
I like the top handle City Steamer but that is about it. I like how structured the Speedys are but I hate the designs on them.
