We can’t put a solid ID on LaToya’s Louis Vuitton tote, but we’re guessing it’s a vintage design that’s no longer made. The patina on the leather trim would certainly seem to indicate that LaToya’s had this bag in her collection for a fairly long time. Fortunately for all LV fans, those signature monograms never fade (with proper care). Louis Vuitton experts, feel free to weigh in with your best guesses!
I have a 4 lb maltipom that travels with me. I have two Gucci pet carriers, a Coach pet carrier, a Tumi pet bag, and a Michael Kors carrier. Great bags but I own handbags that would be even better if I could figure out how to convert them into carriers.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to convert a normal bag into a pet carrier? There are many structured bags that would work if you insert a mesh panel, grommet holes, pad for the bottom, etc. it would be a nice niche business because most of the bags out there are tacky.
Any professional leather shop could convert the bag to a pet carrier or at least know someone who would do it for you. There are lots of talented people around who could do it, but you just need to ask around because they rarely advertise because they are very small businesses or individual craftsmen.
