I can’t remember the last time I felt the urge to drop everything and run to the store to buy something, but that’s the exact feeling that I got when I discovered the Louis Vuitton Multi Pochette. First spotted on Valentina Ferragni a mere ten days ago, we weren’t even sure of the exact name of this bag (bags?) at first. In the days prior you guys helped to identify it, and I soon spotted this interesting combination of Pochette accessories worn by both musical superstars (think Rihanna and Dua Lipa) and influencers alike. Though by now it seems consumers are over the in-you-face tactic of influencer marketing, this time around I was bitten by the bug and I’m not afraid to explain why.
It’s no secret that Louis Vuitton Monogram canvas has a rich history—it’s been around for over 150 years and has been reimagined a ton of different ways. Featured first on trunks, then handbags and accessories, Louis Vuitton Monogram canvas is timeless. Take for example the Monogram Speedy bag that I’ve had for over 10 years, and despite it sitting in my closet untouched for much of that time, whenever I’ve taken it out, it’s been relevant. I haven’t lusted after a Monogram canvas bag in a very long time, but something about the juxtaposition of classic monogram canvas and the multi-bag shape coupled with the utility crossbody strap caught my eye. I couldn’t stop thinking that the bag was just so cool, and despite seeing it on the bodies of one too many Instagram stars I still can’t get it out of my mind.
A further look at the Multi Pochette proves that it’s also quite a value. For $1,550 you’re essentially getting 2 bags in one. This bag is a hybrid of sorts, featuring a large Pochette Bag, a Mini Pochette Accessory and a round coin-purse. It also comes with a gold cross body chain as well as an adjustable Louis Vuitton etched Jacquard strap (in rose or kaki). The cool thing is that this bag can be worn a few different ways. I imagine this worn with jeans, a white tee and cool Nikes during the day, but the smaller pouch alone with the gold chain is perfect for an evening look. The bag is currently available in the US in ‘limited quantities’ for pre-launch via Louis Vuitton. Excuse me while I go “call for availability“.

Rihanna pulled it off best, of course.
It’s also good to remind ourselves that “everywhere” does not always mean everywhere. I was telling my non-bag-loving best friend about the Dior book tote, a bag I thought had become ubiquitous, and she said she had never seen it before. That was a good wake-up call from this land of celebrities and influencers.
Those influencers looks simply hideous and no brain. I bet those people have Me Me attitude and care about how they look. The fashion world is getting so strange lately. Anyway, I don’t mind that bag but feel like it’s only last for short term as those influencers will soon present different free candies!!
One of my pet peeves is the complete lack of creativity. They all have the same aesthetic for their poses, backgrounds, outfits, photography style, etc. It’s all a rat race to see who can have the next “it” item.
How fun, I thought Rihanna, Dua Lipa (?) and Carodeur were the only ones who didn’t pull it off well at all…
I love that Rihanna doesn’t look like she’s trying so hard with her posing. And I like the camo print sweater with the brown monogram and khaki strap. She looks like the only person on this list who understands color.
Ehhh the dangling coin purse would drive me crazy and the layered pouches have kind of a pack mule vibe, at least to me. I always like a woven strap and sporty vibes though.
I’m with you on this one–I like it a lot!
I love it (price is…overwhelming) but is it possible to have just a little “larger” pochette bag (in this case the larger one), just in case you have you know glasses, keys…anyway I’m with you I would definitely buy it 🙂 (thanks for showing)
I don’t understand the aesthetics of the bag(s). Looks clumsy.
I love this bag. I carry my pochette accessories w/long strap around all the time as it’s such a great bag. Just a bit small, so this one with the extras seems perfect. But I must say yet again, the poses of these people are hilarious. My favorite is the girl enjoying the gate.
The poses are indeed hilarious! LOL!
Yeah…nope, I’ll pass.
What the heck are they doing with those bags? Just wear them normally. What the heck are those ridiculous poses for?? Sheesh.
This bag is fun. It’s clearly not for everyone, but I have no doubt it will be a success.
It is already a hughe success. Everybody wants it – Yet no one can buy it. Waiting list as if it was a Birkin bag. Tried to get one … we will see how long it will take. I like it very much because it’s so versatile.
I don’t know why, but when I first saw this, I said, “that bag is stupid.”
I’ve never said that about a bag.
it does!
A size D cup and above this style is not for you. That little round coin pouch hanging is soooo distracting.
Cute, but definitely for the young and hip crowd!
It looks silly, especially when the round coin purse strategically lands across one boob… I’m waiting for some “influencer” to pose half nude with that coin purse hiding the nipple. The pouches themselves are okay if you like the mono canvas look, but the positioning of that round coin pouch is hilarious! And the “LOUIS VUITTON” shouting at you from the canvas strap is too — LOUD! Maybe take them apart, use just the chain strap and sell the LOUIS VUITTON canvas strap.
The thing about this is, its not A BAG. Its a small bag with a smaller pochette attached to each other(and oh yea a coin purse too) all for $1500 when they used to sell the pochette for $500 alone. time to get away from LV! Just sell the pochette alone like everyone wants. I mean it is selling on used sites for upwards of 140% of retail! And I’m no where near flat chested so this would never work for me anyways, the bag would ride ride up there with my boobs.
