For Cruise 2025 Louis Vuitton Offers Classics With a Hint of Spanish Flair

New campaign images offer a look into the collection, which launches later this week

Louis Vuitton’s roots in travel and its passion for the art of it remain integral to the Maison’s DNA. Nicolas Ghesquière continues to weave that iconic heritage with a modern, contemporary allure. This season, he further amplifies it, marrying that distinct charm with the spirit of Barcelona.

To further celebrate the collection and its roots, Louis Vuitton returned to Barcelona to shoot the Women’s Cruise 2025 campaign against the vast architectural cavities of the city. The images, captured by photographer Jamie Hawkesworth, continue the brand’s dialogue with the Spanish city and its heritage.

The natural wonders of some of Barcelona’s most remarkable landmarks act as ideal backdrops for the collection. The environment is expansive and rich, focusing on pieces from the collection and allowing them to come to life. Hints of Spanish heritage are present throughout the collection, with ready-to-wear lending sharp lines and the juxtaposition of flouncy, flowy pieces.

There is a continued focus on Ghesquière’s iconic House staples like the Capucines, Petite Malle, and Side Trunk. Plus, plenty of classic Monogram is present throughout the collection. Bags are wearable and consumer-friendly, complementing the intricacies in the collection’s RTW.

Retreads of old bag designs. I’m sorry, where’s the actual “Barcelona vibe?”

Cheryl

“Barcelona” in name, only. L.V. could’ve created a spectacular collection, but they settled on something safe, unfortunately.

No creativity? I feel like I’ve seen this before in previous handbag collections. It’s always the same thing. If that can be called creativity, then I think I’m the greatest designer of all time.

daveloeweyou

I feel Barcelona in the Gaudi’s buildings and Mediterranean Sea.

Sorry, there is nothing remotely “Barcelona” or Spanish about these designs. The campaign could have been shot in Hoboken and looked the same.

Boring.

Brad

Over priced first fashion brand! Same style and nothing appealing.
