Since its inception, Jacquemus has steadfastly strayed from the ordinary, opting to present boundary-breaking collections that experiment with proportions. His distinct, unique vision has earned him quite a reputation in the 15 years since founding his namesake label.
While each collection feels inherently Jaccquemus, with clear nods to the label’s distinct codes and DNA, Simon Porte Jacquemus never ceases to wow. And wow is just what he did over the weekend at the label’s Spring 2025 show, which was presented in a much more intimate setting than past presentations.
This time, Porte Jacquemus opted for a Parisian apartment oozing an art deco aesthetic. Designed by Parisian architect Auguste Perret, the space was the perfect setting for Jacquemus Spring 2025, which was arguably one of the designer’s best to date.
Dubbed La Croisière, ready-to-wear was said to be inspired by both archival French Couture and a hint of Americana. “I was thinking about opening my stores in New York and LA and about how Coco and Christian [Dior] went to America, Porte Jacquemus told Vogue. A dialogue between America and France, pieces were intricate and elegant, yet still offered the little elements of playfulness we’ve come to expect.

The Bags of Jacquemus Spring 2025
As for the bags, there were many, with new bags taking center stage alongside the return of old favorites to the runway. La Pochette Rond Carré is back this season, updated in croc-embossed leather in bold hues. Also expanded upon this season is the Turismo bag, which is a bowler-style carryall that’s offered in a variety of sizes and leather-embossed skins.
Of course, as for newness, Porte Jacquemus is here to put his own spin on the season’s biggest trends, combining the classic kiss-lock clutch with an east/west body. The very of-the-moment shape debuts in neutral hues and novelty versions alike, including a yellow and white striped iteration offering that hint of Americana.

I love it all. I enjoy the designs, I enjoy the fact that the branding is low key, I enjoy the colors. Awesome show.
Really like the larger Turismo. Not a fan of the exaggerated east-west bags; they look like fancy carriers for foot-long hot dogs.
Hahaha so acutate!
And this is why i love reading comments like this:
Someone said
Saddle bag looks like a kidney bean
Ostrich leather looks like chicken pox
And these are the reasons why i shouldnt buy it haha
LOL. I got a Dior Saddle Pochette in middle school, and my sister (who did not understand designer bags) used to call it my chicken nugget bag!
LOL. Great description 🤣
I just saw the Turismo bag in small croc embossed pink suede at Newman Marcus and it’s a beautiful bag. Out of all the The Row Margaux inspired bag out there, I like the Jacquemus Turismo the most. When they release the bag in a color that I like I’m getting it immediately!
