So many beauties! I love the tweed flap, the green and gold bag, and that final clutch!

Kate

I would honestly carry any one of these, gladly. (Except the waist bag. To each his/her own, but I’m personally not a fanny pack kind of gal.) I don’t usually go for camera bags, but I really like the camera bag. Even the denim doesn’t offend me, though I would never actually buy a denim bag.

Sparky

#4 denim is to die for.
can’t believe the minis are pushing the 4k mark….

gmarie430

I like the denims as well, but I own the Louis Vuitton denim bags in black and blue, and I can tell you that in 5 years, those bags will not be worth the price. They wear out so quickly, and I treat my bags very well. I rotate A LOT, never using one bag for too long. I love my old Louis Vuitton denim bags, but never wear them because they look faded and old.

Megan

This is a good season. I love the lacquered mini flap.

I guess I’m in the minority, but these are not my style at all. I wouldn’t pay the price listed for a single one of these bags . . .

Katerina Kaminski

Nope, I’m right there with you. In what world is $3,600 seen as being an acceptable price for a waist bag i.e. a fanny pack? Prices for Chanel bags are intrinsically normalized and ppl don’t think anything about spending these prices. But, stop. and. think. A small boy bag is $4,800 and a Chanel tweed flap is $7,400! This from a company that will only service their machine sewn bags up to 5 years? And they make bags that within a few short months show wear on the corners and stitching becomes loose? Yes, I’ve personally experienced all of these issues. Consumers can blindly continue to follow their Chanel pied piper, but not this lady. My days of purchasing Chanel bags and throwing my $ down the drain are over. Y’all enjoy, but I’m out!

Janet Bunton

Right!

Rashmi

Hallelujah!!! Nothing attractive about “machine made” Chanel bags. The should really bring down the prices. But I guess they can’t die to huge overhead costs and fashion show costs!

Divadeluxnyc

Love this collection. Glad to see Chanel hit the mark after a few misses the last couple of seasons

I’ve taken the vanity case out for a spin and I was disappointed in the quality of the zipper. It was really hard to open! The construction was flimsy and the zips were sticking to itself.

Kaitlin Serio

So many discussions about quality issues! I adore the camera bag but I think if I were to purchase a Chanel camera bag I would get one that’s vintage.

Nan

There are “so many discussions about quality issues” because it’s real and it’s really frustrating. If Chanel’s vintage bags can still be obtained, in quality condition, but the current bags fall apart within months, or sooner, that’s a problem.

Katerina Kaminski

Really? A Chanel product that is subpar? Shocking! Chanel bags look pretty, but their quality is crap.

Neon Pastel

Seriously, they’re just laughing in our faces at this point. They know the majority of their customers will still go out of their way to purchase a bag even if it means searching high and low for a product that has the best quality.

The luxury of luxury items is that it should be off the best quality when it’s being sold! The fact that we have to watch out for things like sticky zippers is so amateur hour.

We need to wise up so Chanel will step it up. This is getting ridiculous.

These bags are cute but not something that I would spend my money on buying. I’ve come to realize that I like cool yet functional bags. Something with a bit of edge. Unfortunately, I often find Chanel a little too ladylike for my taste.

Renée Baccara

No, just a big no from me.

Leslie

I agree, I think Chanel’s prices are out of control. Can’t see myself spending that much money on a bag anymore. Even pre-loved is still a bit much. Pass.

Janet Bunton

I agree

Slim

Wow, $7,400 for a Chanel Flap!!! So glad, I bought mine at $4,800 in Paris and received a VAT return of $700!!!

I just finished selling off the last 20 Chanel bags I owned. I bought way too many over the past few years, and became utterly desensitized. I kept trying trying to get excited about them again, but the relationship could not be resuscitated. I long struggled with spending so much at a morally and ethically bankrupt company, and finally broke up with it. I see this collection and breathe a sigh of relief as nothing remotely appeals to me. I will always appreciate Chanel for its unique aesthetic that never changes and its consistently reiterative designs, but I feel both the company and the collections need new life. And maybe quite the overhaul of its quality and treatment of both customers and employees. Just MHO.

Nan

Well said! Some people want to dismiss the idea of the lack of quality of the bags and the prices, but it’s real. On the other hand, I also don’t think that some people care because they are in love with the brand. When I walk by boutiques now, not even tempted to go in, I notice that they rarely have more than a few customers in them. A few years ago they were busy and overcrowded. Idk if Chanel is taking stock of what I perceive as waning consumer interest, but perhaps they should. I feel that a brand is only as strong as its consumer/customer base. While I can’t predict the future of Chanel I feel that changes should be made to prevent an increasing number of customers from leaving.

Anisa Glover

I remember I used to want a Chanel bag. Glad i got over that.
