Dive (Feet First) Into Fall With Hot New Footwear from Gucci

These boots are made for walking...

Gucci’s House history comes from a long and storied past, one that followed a clean, calculated evolution until Alessandro Michele was put at the helm of the brand. His aesthetic quickly shifted the world’s perception of Gucci, skyrocketing the brand to popularity and sending Gucci’s sales through the roof.

Though we talk a lot about handbags around here (of course), Michele’s collections also include special RTW, shoes, and other accessories that are just as highly sought after. And this season’s shoes have particularly caught our eye. Whether you’re looking for comfort in the form of a lugged-sole loafer or you’re after a sky-high heel to stand out and above the crowd, Gucci’s Autumn Staples have you covered. This season, footwear includes the equestrian-inspired Horsebit and are a nod to the House’s sports and leisure references. Other pieces are inspired by designs from other times and places, and one of our favorites is the GG logo boot.

Appearing in a mix of shiny ordeaux leather and mini GG canvas, this iconic and stylish boot provides a vintage appeal with a modern feel. A buckle detail finishes off the pair, which can be worn as the statement-making piece to your outfit or as part of a more pared-down look. Discover the GG Logo boot below.

Wow so many typos in such a short piece. A record! Worst is the first name of the designer, who is Alessandro, not Alessandra.

Ya, no excuse for that – It was an auto correct to the wrong name but fixed!

JolieS

Why stop at just one correction? Go crazy, fix them all to make it seem more like professional fashion journalism.😄

Ha, I fixed more than one, but def the name was a bit of a cringe moment 😉

It’s a nice classic piece I feel, yet even a bit too traditional for me. I like to play it save with my bags and outfit, but my shoe can stand out! 😉

I love boots and with that heel height too, it should’ve been right up my alley. They’ve managed to somehow make that shape really ugly. All they had to do was have nice smooth leather, properly matching sole/heel, and the buckle and it would’ve been fine. What’s with the Ted Baker stripes and weirdly aligned canvas etc?

Pass.
