In the early 2000s, carrying your pet around in a designer carrier was the thing to do. Stars including Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson, Ashley Tisdale and many more were constantly spotted with their designer doggy bags in hand, toting around their precious pets from place to place. Let’s be honest, sometimes your pet makes a better companion anyhow!
I never really understood it until I got a puppy of my own. The sweetest, friendliest, cutest little guy named Dudley is now my companion, and it was then that I understood why people never want to leave their pups behind. It was also then that I realized I would do just about anything for my little Frenchie friend. Sure our pups aren’t people, but they hold a very special place in our hearts. If you love fashion and you love designer bags, then it’s possible that you’d want your pet to look just as stylish as you. Well fear not friends, you’re in luck, because Fendi just introduced an insanely cute new line of pet accessories.

The four-piece line includes a dog carrier, leash, collar (sold separately) and a doggy coat. For reference, Dudley is a 7-month old French Bulldog puppy who is 18 pounds and the carrier was just a bit too small for him to fit comfortably inside. Currently available in one size with measurements of 9.9″ L x 16.5″ W x 9.5″ D, the pet carrier is best for small breeds to be loved and used for life. It’s sturdy and durable, made from Fendi’s iconic FF coated canvas it has double top handles for hand carrying as well as a shoulder strap that’s optional.
The bag has a removable cushioned bottom that not only helps keep the bag’s shape but also acts as a comfortable bottom for your precious pet. Two pockets on the back and front exterior make it easy to store treats or other items for your pet (or yourself!). I slid my cell phone and keys inside during our shoot so that I didn’t have to carry anything else with me, which made it easier to manage Dudley who is always on the move (and always trying to put stuff in his mouth!). The carrier is extremely well made, offering a breathable front mesh panel that also zips open for easy access to some puppy love. Purchase for $2,690 via Fendi.

For the stylish pup who’s always by your side, Fendi’s collar and matching leash duo will make your dog the cutest on the block! Perfect to match your pooch’s new carrier, the collar and leash are crafted from the same Fendi FF coated canvas with palladium-finish hardware. Finished with an embossed FF nameplate that can be customized (the engraving takes around 3 weeks), the collar comes in different sizes and is also adjustable, however the leash can be worn at one length only. Both the collar and leash feature leather detailing and both feel sturdy and expertly crafted. Meant to be used everyday, the duo is luxe but also durable. Purchase the collar via Fendi for $290 and the matching leash for $420.

That pup is adorable!
Is that your baby Kaitlin? She is so distracting that I didn’t even notice the Fendi eye-candy 🙂
Yes! That’s my boy Dudley 🙂
How cute! I leave my frenchie because it is just too hot for him outside, and he weighs 25 lbs so there’s no carrying him anywhere! lol ps I love your tattoos!
Ha I hear you…This will be my first summer with him but I’ve already gotten a taste on some warm spring days! He makes it to the corner and that’s it. Thanks so much – the ‘love you’ is my grandmas handwriting!
Dudley is the perfect Fendi model!!
“Oh! That will fit me perfectly, and with room for bones! Let’s see, I’ll need one for the house, one for Jeepers, one to stay at aunt Carol’s, one at uncle Kev’s….. That’ll be 5. The 5th is just for bones, of course. ? < Little Lucy, the ZOO!
Oh I am in love (with your frenchie though.)
The carrier is adorable. Unfortunately, I have the larger version of Frenchie’s, their cousins, the English bulldogs. Don’t believe mine will fit..
AWWW! They are adorable!
THEY ARE SO CUTE!!
I have a gorgeous Designer navy and natural canvas (coated inside too) pet carrier from Michael Kors but still not used as no pet! Very similar to the fendi one if not slightly larger. I bought it for the car to see items easily and keep essentials upright & neatly in place and no spills. Sigh… Might just have to get me a pet else sell it on fleabay now!
I am already paranoid about someone stealing my 2 Frenchies, I think the Fendi would just push me over the top.
I hear you!! Stay safe!
If I could afford it I’d buy some of these for my dog. They are so fun!
(Please give Dudley a great big kiss from me and a squishy hug!)
Oh I will he is truly the FRIENDLIEST! Everyone in my neighborhood knows him, he has to say hi to everybody!
Same here but i dont have a small dog. I love big huge dogs. I have a golden retriever that i love to hug so much. I remembered prada came out with a pet carrier earlier in the year. It even had a removable liner inside just in case the pet has an accident. I remembered it was black and in nylon if im not mistaken. Dudley ????
What a gross display of wealth… $2,690 for a dog bag? A bag for the DOG?
Wouldn’t that money be better spent towards charity or homelessness?
WOW.
One of the reasons I love handbags is because of the joy and happiness it brings to the carrier. It’s why I first fell in love with bags. Whether the bag is for me, or my dog, it can still be an accessory that brings joy. We can all spend our money however we see fit – whether we give to charities, schools for our kids, savings, or bags. Most people that do have some extra spending money enjoy buying something a bit more superfluous, be it bags, watches, cars, clothes. No one is saying you can’t have a designer pet bag and give to charity as well 🙂
Maybe, but this is a handbag site. I believe that while it’s important to give to other’s, and I devoted my life to assisting the less fortunate, I also believe that people can spend their own money as they wish.
why are you on a HANDBAG forum then… leave us alone lol. this dog carrier is so cute!
Was this comment meant for me? I have no issues re: dog carriers or how people spend their money.
I agree Nancie. To lessen the guilt i felt when i was about to buy my first B35 i donated first to charity.
Love this approach !
Does Fendi make one on wheels for my 105# chocolate lab?!! All jokes aside, that’s a great looking bag.
I’m jealous that yours fits into the bag, perfect for toting them on the metro in Paris. English cockers are just a smidge too big. Fortunately, they can ride public transportation in Belgium and Switzerland right out in the open. In our local tram yesterday there was a family with three Bernese Mountain Dogs. Beautiful but that was a major canine trio!
