According to Fendi, the Saddle Bag is Back

Introducing the beautiful Fendi Moonlight Saddle Bag

Last September, Fendi debuted a stunning, eclectic collection of bags for spring 2021, and while many of the silhouettes from the runway were carryover styles, there was one brand new bag that stood out from the rest.

Structured and compact, yet simplistic and sleek, this new saddle bag shape was clutched by models in various neutral colors and caught our eye due to its wearable silhouette and detailed design elements. Today we’re taking another look at this new design just ahead of spring. Introducing the Fendi Moonlight Saddle Bag.

While saddle bags tend to fly a bit under-the-radar in comparison to other handbag shapes, more and more designers have begun to add this shape to their assortments once again. And if Fendi has any say in it, for 2021, the saddle bag is back.

Crafted in Italy from soft calfskin leather this bag encompasses everything that Fendi stands for: impeccable design, storied craftsmanship and a handbag that will remain relevant for years to come. Featuring a classic silhouette with clean lines, it is the details that really make the bag. The leather is hand-stitched and features an iconic FF metal closure as well as a really cool tortoise shell-effect (though the orange color has white detailing) trim that is made out of plexiglass.

Inside the bag is lined in leather, and there is one interior slit pocket. With overall dimensions of 5.5″ L x 8.3″ W x 3.5″ D the interior is on the smaller side, but it can work as a day to night bag for those who don’t carry much. Additionally, carrying a card case will help free up some room! The bag can be worn over the shoulder or crossbody as the shoulder strap is adjustable. The Moonlight is just another classic hit to come out of the House of Fendi.

Pre-order via Saks for $2,100 or buy it in olive green now via Farfetch.

I really like how detailed it is, I really do, and I don’t really like Fendi so that’s saying something. But I just wish it was bigger, it’s so small, the details aren’t as prominent as I’d like.

Tesco

Not sure why….but what I see looking at the bag is a Chloe Marcie

This bag is certainly simple, but not “simplistic.”

I didn’t realize Purse Blog paid you as their editor

Pamela

Maybe this is the only “editorial” job he could get? Regardless, It’s not necessary to correct the author when mistakes are made.

Justice

They probably should since I see mistakes regularly. ???

Glad somebody’s editing. LOL. Spelling, grammar, usage are a disgrace on this blog.

WHO CARES. “Proper” American-English is a myth anyway, and was created and is still used to perpetuate white supremacy. Language is meant as a tool to communicate a message. You understood what the author was saying, didn’t you? If your answer is yes (which we know it is), then she used language to communicate her opinions. Which is the sole purpose of this blog. You constantly harassing her about her punctuation and grammar is elitist, dehumanizing and honestly a part of a larger socio-economic issue. As someone with a Black Power fist laid over a rainbow and a name like “Justice,” I would hope you were aware of these things. If not, maybe use all this free time you have to study up. And then practice some compassion for others.

ILP

Proper English has nothing to do with white supremacy. It has to do with education. There are plenty of people of all races who butcher the English language. (Have you watched NJ Housewives? Swamp people? Teen mom shows? – I can name others) But that said, we are reading a blog, not someone’s PhD thesis or a NYT article. Blogs are casual and fun and have quick turnover for articles. So we don’t need to nitpick. Just enjoy the content and handbags.

This is the best fendi has gotten in a loooong time, BUT it still feels like tacky fendi to me… the logos practically everywhere are such a turnoff… it’s like we get it, it’s a fendi bag, who cares ?

Boring? All I see is Chloe marcie.
