While some may think Labubu took the bag accessory craze to the next level, I am here to tell you that this trend isn’t new. I was here (seriously, am I now going to start with the back-in-my-day spiel?!) when we were dangling the Fendi Karlito Charm from our bags. I took that charm on a trip and made him have an entire vacation living his best life. So yes, while Labubus and accessorizing them is a fun notion of the present, I’ve already been there.
Also, I am staring at a box of Labubus I need to open alongside 3 I have already opened. So I am not coming down on the Labubu train; I’m riding on it happily.

The Rise of the Bag Charm: Why This Trend Feels Fresh Again
But this takes me back to the art of accessorizing your bag. With bag prices continuing to rise and more of the bags we once deemed ‘rare’ being seen on a daily basis, personalizing your bag has offered a way of self-expression and unique touches. I like grabbing a little charm from different towns we visit, which will always take me back to that time in my life when I see them again. And I am also a fan of designer bag charms. I have a closet of random ones (I should probably go through these and find them all).
Fendi had Karlito, but it also had the Bag Bug charms (I have one or two of those somewhere in my closet, come to think of it), and the brand continues to produce some of the most playful and well-designed bag accessories on the market.
In fact, I thought I’d find a few cute ones while browsing the site the other day and was blown away by just how many options exist. Each is more fun than the next, and with different themes, materials, and colors, there truly is something for everyone.

Treat-Yourself Moment: Why a Charm Feels Better Than a Full Bag Splurge
The other reason bag charms are performing so well right now is the state of the market. Rising prices make a larger purchase more of a thought-out, planned idea, and many times, adding a charm (though still expensive) winds up feeling more like a treat-yourself moment than a substantial purchase.
I have about 10 favorites out of the selection of charms below because Fendi proves they’ve been in the accessory for your accessory game, long before most.
20 Bag Charms that Prove Fendi Knows Best

wow, at this point, i think i’ll prefer labubu since woww that probably made from scrap material (Which is okay) but the price??? wow
Labubu on the resale market isn’t the cheapest either! But I hear you, prices are really high across the board!
