You guys have winnowed down our PurseBlog March Madness field to your two favorite bag designers, and now we’ve locked Chanel and Celine into a winner-take-all cage match (or maybe a West Side Story-style knife fight; the mental image is up to you), and only one winner can emerge. I think the fact that chanel is represented by a boy bag helps it a lot, 🙂 Never liked anything chanel before they started making those and now I must have them all.
I appreciate that Celine has made it this far, but I think between the two, Chanel will take it. It’s hard to top Karl Lagerfeld and his limitless imagination. The same imagination that has come up with ridiculous bags that are super hot items with celebs and fashionistas (Chanel perfume clutch?!).
Chanel has a bag for pretty much anybody out there, and I like that there are always so many options. But as a salesperson who sells both Celine and Chanel bags, I feel like the craftsmanship on Celine is so much better than Chanel when comparing price points. So it’s a close match.
