Gallery: Saturday with Veuve Clicquot at the Carnaval in Miami

When Megs pinged me from the next room last Thursday and told me that our friends at Veuve Clicquot had extended an invite to the VIP tent at Saturday’s Miami festivities, I initially wondered where they would be hosting a polo match in downtown Miami…

This time the event would be less horse play and jockeys with long mallets, but more electrifying samba, vibrant costumes, live music and heart-pounding drum beats. I took a few hours away from Megs and our baby daughter, strapped on my camera and headed down to the 305 to document the good times.

In the spirit of the Carnaval festival, the event was hosted by Brazilian bombshell Adriana Lima and packed with other notable celebrities and tastemakers, like my Czech homegirl Karolína Kurková. The champagne was flowing in abundance, the entertainment was top notch, and the stylish attendees brought their personal flair.

Below is a gallery of my impressions from the Carnaval. I hope we can bring you a little South Florida heat when it’s still freezing cold in most parts of the country. Enjoy!
