Earlier this week Dior held its Cruise 2020 show and today we’re giving you a first look at the bags from this collection. The show was held in the Moroccan city of Marrakesh, and the collection itself was clearly inspired by the backdrop in which it was shown. Bags from this collection included various prints and textures, with leather bags being in the minority. As the house explained via instagram, creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri collaborated with illustrators from an African factory. The illustrators were given the opportunity to create reinterpretations of classic Dior elements like the toile de Jouy. The result is incredibly unique and special edition prints on genuine 100% made in Africa wax print fabrics. Favorites from this collection include a stunning yellow printed version of the Dior Book Tote as well as a woven red saddle bag. Models also walked the runway clutching teeny tiny versions of the Book Tote. View bags from the collection below.

I spy with my little eye a mini book tote?
Most of the bags look great.
Love, LOVE the faux leather caning look. Still can’t swallow the logos, sorry!
I’ve stopped complaining about the new Dior and even like some stuff. I guess it’s like Stockholm Syndrome.
I never thought I’d be into Dior, but I absolutely love these bags.
I would love to see #17 in person, but the rest not so much. Can these be purchased online?
I’ll take one of each from pictures 5, 9, and 23. Not a fan of the Book Tote, but the mini version is too cute.
I also love the tie-dyed jeans. I’m just not into the wide-leg style.
Many great pieces in this collection. However, the giant “CHRISTIAN DIOR” on the Book tote and other bags needs to go. Why are people so desperate to show off?
Not too impressed with the bags. I’m more impressed with the patterned dresses.
Love the whole look of 24 with the boots and trousers.
I really like this style but I would buy these designs from Coach for example, or Furla. But Dior has a premium price tag for which I would only buy something I could enjoy for years to come, “classic” at least in some way.
The black tote with the whip-stitching is GORGEOUS!
The book tote really needs a removable wide shoulder strap
OMG, baby Book Totes!
Nice collection for both clothes and bags. Overall heaps better than Louis Vuitton in my opinion. Personally I love Book Tote and love to add for my bag collection but wish it has a inside pocket or comes with a porch like Louis Vuitton Neverfull.
