Coach’s Fall 2015 Bags Have Arrived for Your Shopping Pleasure

Even if you live in a place where it’ll be hot and sticky outside for another month, there’s no denying that fall is on its way, at least in stores. Coach is the latest brand to get its autumn assortment in stock, and that means a whole bunch of new Swagger bags, plus some debut styles we think are well worth a look.

The most notable tweak to the popular Swagger line is the addition of a chain strap, which lightens the details of the bag just a bit. This season, you’ll also find a suede option, in addition to multicolor bags in a handful of fall-appropriate color combinations.

There are also half a dozen new bags in the brand’s fall lineup, including the Shadow crossbody (which is a perfect entrant into this season’s big saddle bag trend) and the beautiful Ace Satchel, finished in expensive-looking smooth leather.

Below, we’ve picked a representative sample of the new bags, and you can shop the full run via Coach.

Nomad hobo bag is surprisingly very nice – a bag I could see myself buying;; the blue suede swagger bag is nice too – as for the rest – meh – don’t do much for me

Gina Fuller

I really like the nomad hobo. I would buy that!

The swagger is a little Reed Krakoff, but nice. Nothing too innovative but the prices are attainable and the bags are nice enough. Good luck, Coach.

Alex

The Swagger was inspired by Bonnie Cashin who was the creative director before Krakoff

Yes, that swagger style has many incarnations!

most of them are doing a bit too much for me.

macroblue

These bags are a little weird. Over on the Coach website there are all black versions of them with black hardware. I find the dark monochrome look very appealing. Much better than these gaudier versions.

Some of these bags have way too many design details. The Nomad hobo is gorgeous. I love the a Rip & Repair. But, again, did it need that stagecoach strip. Ruins the effect.
I’m glad that I’m not a Coach customer, or I would be extremely disappointed.

I agree. I remember back in the 70’s when Coach was a premium brand there was no detailing. Now that the bags have become mainstream it seems the designers’ objectives are to give today’s customers their “money’s worth” by piling on unnecessary details. I don’t buy them any more. The look and feel cheap in person. Two steps up from Guess? bags.

Sparkletastic

YES! These are my thoughts exactly. This used to be a quality brand. Now the product looks and feels like Guess “Plus”. Just Blech!

I too like the Nomad Hobo alright but I hate the styling on most of these bags with an intensity that I do not fully understand. Lol.

Coach just doesn’t appeal to me in anyway nowadays. Having said that, my first designer bag was coach and monogram for that matter but that was a really long time ago. Hardly anything they are churning out now does it for me. The bag I’ve come closest to liking is the Borough bag. Nothing on here is doing it for me.

Defiinitely not a fan of the stagecoach though glad not to see the logo fabric.

I have never owned a Coach bag. I walked into the store many times to buy one over the years, but walked out not completely satisfied. It is as if something is missing. I finally bought a cross body on sale last year. At home, I tried it again, the leather felt very “hollow”, and since I had gotten into designer bags I just didn’t see myself in that bag. I returned it. I find some bags interesting but never enough to buy.

I agree with the posters about too much detailing on the bags. However one thing that Coach does very well is shoes. Their boots are so comfortable and last forever!
