Oh Christian Louboutin how you intrigue me, time and time again. We’ve had countless mini-debates about what we think about CL handbags. For the most part the feedback I get is that CL shoes are totally amazing while CL handbags, although sometimes amazing, are always a bit overpriced. I can’t say I disagree.
I came across the Christian Louboutin Pillow Clutch and once again found myself kinda wanting it to be mine. The clutch seems so disco-fab, don’t you think? The clutch is comprised of gold metallic leather, pleating throughout, zip detailing, a gold chain shoulder strap (that I actually might use) and of course, the signature red satin lining. Sure, it will set you back a bit, but it might just be worth it! Buy through Net-a-Porter for $1295.

i like the entire design, borderline badass. but somehow it does not look expensive. maybe too much metallic everything.

The design is creative, but I have to agree, the look is not all that cha-ching-y. If I had to put a price on this bag I’d sell it for $85. I wouldn’t pay more than that.

I have a black suede hand bag with a Kate Spade ‘metal-ly’ tag attached to the front.
Attached as well is a black leather bow-in the fashion of breast cancer awareness or protect the troops-flush with the tag,almost anchoring a strap.
This bag is firm,not malleable,and has a aprotective cover with a clip attachment for the interior. ..like a shellto cover the open gap.
The serial number,stamped in tiny numerals on a metal exterior stud covering the clip, reads 8833313 & NDATO or HAOTA3331628.
The measurements are 11″(L.) x 9″(H.) x3″(W.).
Straps are black leather with white or blonde stitching.
I cannot find anywhere else to turn to in order to authenticate this.
I would transmit images if necessary.
I haven’t any knowledge of this item’s provenance-and I just need help with the determination.

Metallic is now the new neutral. So to me..this is not too flashy. Bronze, gold, and silver you can use for all seasons. The profile is lovely and the gold does not seem to glare. I could see this purse in an antique gold or bronze gold. The pleating and tucks soften the east-west design. I really like this purse…but as for the asking price;…with today’s economy it would only serve as a window display for us low income workers to drool over. In all.. it is lovely but not worth the equivalent of a years work of dental work.
