As we all know, Chanel handbags can’t be bought online. The brand itself doesn’t sell anything on its website except cosmetics, and it also doesn’t wholesale its handbags to any third-party retailers, period. That means that everyone from storied auction houses to contemporary retailers has to get creative about how they find ways to sell the profitable, sought-after bags, and for ShopBop, that means partnering up with vintage juggernaut What Goes Around Comes Around to sell the company’s Chanel bags (and more) on its website.
ShopBop recently added a bunch of WGACA’s Chanel bags to its site, and the retailer also currently has Louis Vuitton and Hermès bags from the company in stock as well. Check out a few of our favorites below or shop the full WGACA accessories edit at ShopBop.
Chanel actually allows a select few boutiques to sell their current season products in their brick and mortar stores, including ikram in chicago, jeffrey nyc, and hirschleiffers in manhasset.
Also The Webster in miami and bal harbour
maybe they’ve changed their pricing tactics but What Goes Around Comes Around prices have been ridiculous in the past. I would literally scratch my head on some of the LV prices listed on ShopBop
a mini for $4650?! seriously wtf
Beautiful hands,,.. but quite expensive .. still i like the style and colors 🙂

Ladies, I know Chanel bags hold their value, but for these prices my advice would be to save a few extra bucks and buy a brand new one from the store – at least then you will get the whole experience and, believe me, it’s worth it. Walking out with a carry bag after spending 2 hours trying on every bag in store is worth the extra cash any day. Shop bop can never guarantee THAT level of customer service. For second hand, try Shop Hers (prices are way more reasonable and authenticity guaranteed). Cheers.
