Earlier this year, Chanel presented its Fall 2021 collection in a new, darker, and grungier space than Chanel’s usual show space, Paris’ Grand Palais. The space was the perfect backdrop for the new collection, which embraces Chanel’s edgier side, showing casing new shapes and silhouettes with stunning, show-stopping details.
Intricate bags with sequins, metal, chains, shearling and more walked the runway, though the collection also featured cool new shapes that are a bit more wearable (think: leather box bags and new flaps). Additionally, many of the silhouettes were what one would expect from Chanel for fall, possessing an apres-ski vibe, which the brand further honed in upon with its new ad campaign. The collection just hit the internet and is now available in boutiques, and today, we’re taking a look at our favorites from the collection.
Lol. Those prices! Nope! Not when their flaps are crooked and the SoBlack hardware it’s tarnished out of the box! Pass.
Nothing to swoon over. I did like the blue on the bag the model is holding. Beautiful color.
That silver distressed bag looks like foil off a gum wrapper applied to the bag snd then the chain was wrapped tightly around it causing the dents. Doesn’t scream $7100 to me. Trust me. I can distress my own bags with normal day to day use. No help needed.
Their prices are just plain nuts doesn’t matter if you can “ afford “ it or not just stupid. I’d rather buy actual gold jewelry that has real value than a piece of leather that’s gonna age and possible get stained or smell like like mildew over time.
All so true! I could not agree more. You can get a decent Rolex or VCA bracelet or necklace for these prices and hand those down.
Their prices are ridiculous. I would spend $10K on a H bag, but NEVER on one of these. The quality is just not there.

The vary-color mini bucket mesh bag looks like Whiting & Davis took LSD!! Cute, but retro circa 1980 and far TOO EXPENSIVE!!
Love the black mini flap but I don’t think it’s even wide enough to fit an iphone.
I am not sure if Its just me, but the bag collection cannot be viewed on the chanel app and the prices are not showing? I hope it doesn’t mean another price increase….how far can it go….better to buy vintage…old is gold

I was on the Chanel website and some of their bags have surpassed Birkin prices.
God that’s sad… Birkins offer so much more quality and prestige than a 10k Chanel seasonal that people will date to this collection🤦🏻♀️
I would say for me it depends on which Chanel seasonal but definitely not a 10k-I love Chanel bags but for the Mini Flap and the Mini Evening above definitely not..same for the Bucket Bag..Of course, the prestige, quality and heritage of the Chanel Iconic, the Chanel 19(there are a few seasonals that I’ve really loved and I do own a Chanel 19 and a Chanel Iconic) The 4K Mini Flap is beautiful, I actually prefer some of the Pre-Fall Collection bags. But for seasonal, I really love the Fendi AW collection-the Fendi First is beautiful..there are some gorgeous selections there, as well as some in the ‘special’ category. I’m also a Baguette Fan(the first luxury purchase I ever made) But for anything over 10K..I agree!

I love chanel but chanel doesn’t have an edgier side. It has options in black with slightly bigger hardwear. It’s still all very grandma safe.
It is all in your style, any bag can look edgy with the right clothes and attitude!

I’m not a Chanel person with the exception of the Re-issue. I just look at some of these bags, and I just think…granny. They look old (for lack of a better word) and not in a good way. Maybe I need to see them styled.
To the person buying the psychedelic sequined Chanel bucket bag or the PVC Pipe Chanel bag for $10k USD – YES! You do you! Spend that trust fund money. Get all those vibes. I will be holding on to my hard earned dolla bills for this collection though.
