Ah, to have a Chanel Coco Beach summer—that is the dream. Take me on a seaside vacation, and I’ll dream of carrying and wearing everything from this seasonal collection. It’s light and airy, it screams summer, and it’s so Chanel.
While seasonal handbag collections are dreamy for our very extensive seasonal wardrobes (that may be feasible or not financially feasible at all), I also loved to see the new sunglasses from Chanel. While a bag is a larger investment, a pair of sunglasses is a brilliant entry and addition to the wardrobe. Plus, you can wear them all the time, so cost per wear makes a lot of sense!
Seasonal Bags Worth the Summer Daydream
These bags from the Coco Beach collection include several different shapes, all with a light denim body. There’s a Hobo, Shopping Bag, and, naturally, the Classic Flap. With pink/white and blue/white color combinations, the bags feature a purposefully faded appearance. The floral pattern splashes across the bag in varying sizes and makes up the classic CC logo as well.

Each bag features the classic and very defining gold chain and (in this case) denim strap. On the hobo, there are two sizes to play around with, and on the Classic Flap, you can double up the strap or carry by single strap. The shopper is intended as a double-strap carry.

Classic Meets Playful: Chanel’s Take on Seasonal Shades
As for the sunglasses, there are always classics, similar to a black Classic Flap. However, Chanel invokes its playful touch to its sunglasses (and regular glasses), offering to coincide with the season and add a little pizazz to your outfit. And I want to be that person. I want to wear the smaller-framed, oval sunglasses with pink rims! That girl is fun, loves summer, and is reading a book by the pool.

Each pair of sunglasses has its own touches of Chanel, from a larger frame (which fits my face shape better and is what I usually need to opt for) with light pink rims to a more of-the-moment oval frame with black and gold detailing.

Looks like a Vera Bradley collab. 🙁
Agree 😒
Very funny! Can’t disagree. I actually was making a face while looking at this collection and it wasn’t a happy face.
You beat me to it! lmao
And will charge $5,000+ for the privilege. I like it, but upon a second glance, it looks cheap. I can already picture popped stitches. Don’t get me started on how filthy it would get. Can it be tossed in the washing machine?
YES! lol you are 100% right.
I miss when Purse Blog actually wrote reviews instead of just advertising copy
I hear you loud and clear. This post was more of sharing sunglasses I like and I pulled bags that were part of the summer collection. I wasn’t intending on doing an in depth review on them, but I know that you all would like more of that, so I will!
Utterly agree with you
it looks sad and cheap
They have to be joking!? This looks like it came out of the ABC store in Hawaii….(and I don’t meant to offend the ABC stores)
No offence to Chanel the new handbags look like toiletries bags. Sorry just had to say this. Not going to be for my collection.
Honestly? The denim Coach Tabby is way better than this.
Chanel for Wal-Mart.
I don’t even mind the fabric that much, but what’s with the cheap floral print? Yikes!
Why do they look dirty and moldy?
Just yuck!
Is it new collaboration with DAISO??? 🤮🤮🤮
Dreadful and cheap-looking
These look like a home EC project. They have no structure and are already collapsing. What’s with the “price on request” for inexpensive canvas bags.
The blue one looks like blanket and the pink one looks like they got bleach on it, and their price. wow.
They look like nappy bags.
Yes , my first thought was vintage Vera Bradley, which I love. So I love the washed cotton look of this collection. But at these prices, no way.
Fake
What if the fabric went yellowing…?
