The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic is an Ever-Flowing Font of Great Bags, and More

It’s that time of year again, when celebrities make the grand voyage to New Jersey to attend the Veuve Cliquot Polo Classic and pretend they like or understand polo. I love the pageantry of polo: the food, the champagne, the horses, the outfits, the stomping of the divots and, of course, the handbags. Today, we have all that and more in our bi-weekly look at what celebrities are carrying.

Here’s Gigi Hadid, leaving a little get-together at pal Taylor Swift’s apartment in NYC, carrying the Max Mara-Whitney Museum collab bag. The Max Mara Whitney has been getting a fair bit of traction with celebs in recent weeks. We saw Sarah Jessica Parker carrying this bag last month.

Chanel Graffiti Backpack

Khloé Kardashian was spotted arriving at a hotel in NYC with one of her favorite bags, the Chanel Graffiti Backpack. Khloé has owned and loved this Chanel style ever since it was introduced last year. This may, in fact, be the same backpack we first saw Khloé with back in 2014. The graphics and graffiti placement are all the same, but it does seem to have faded a bit.

First off, she’s clearly very aware that she’s being photographed, and she can be certain that she looks good, because she just left Anastasia Salon in Beverly Hills with her girlfriend Pia Mia, but she’s probably still using the front-facing camera on her phone just to triple-certify that she does, in fact, look amazing.
