Honestly, Sarah Jessica Parker‘s enthusiasm for her own line of shoes makes me like her shoes a lot more. Celebs are frequently quick to lend their name to some fashion line for the right amount of cachiche, and while the brands who foot the bill are glad to have you think those celebs were deeply involved in every aspect of the design process, there’s seldom evidence that they were on-hand to give feedback for more than 45 minutes total.
Not so with Sarah Jessica Parker. SJP literally puts in the legwork with every shoe. I’m not sure if they have her test the actual prototypes (that assignment probably goes to less valuable feet), but they might as well. Sarah wears her own shoes to the Met Ball, to the White House and she’s frequently seen wearing them as she pleads with paparazzi to stop taking photos right outside her West Village brownstone.
SJP Carrie Glitter Pumps
$375 via Zappos
I’m particularly fond of these glittery, T-strap SJP Carrie Pumps SJP wore to the opening night of Sylvia on Broadway. You can still find these online in select sizes, unfortunately they seem far less likely to go on sale than other styles.
SJP Embellished Fawn Pumps
$545 via Nordstrom
Earlier this week, Sarah paired these embellished blue satin pumps with her Hamilton-inspired Met Gala ensemble. This pump seems to be one of her line’s newest styles, and as you might suspect, it has not made its way online just yet.
SJP Fawn Chain Pumps
$207 via 6pm.com
The Fawn (sans chain) was one of the very first styles SJP rolled out when her line made its exclusive Nordstrom debut way back in 2014. She wore this updated version of the Fawn to a recent dinner gala.
SJP Rampling Glitter Pumps
$375 via Nordstrom
Here’s SJP leaving an appearance on The View in a Rampling Pump, which has slightly sharper lines than her popular Fawn style. Luckily, this super-shiny version is still available.
SJP Gelsey Ballet Flats
$213 via Neiman Marcus
SJP’s shoe line also offers a basic ballet flat called the Gelsey. Here’s Sarah out and about in NYC in a dark silver pair of Gelseys, clearly imploring the paps to do literally anything else with their time.
SJP Naomi Peep Toe Pumps
$255 via Bloomingdale’s
Here’s yet another pic of SJP wearing SJPs right outside her own West Village home. These gorgeous, glittery Naomi pumps are another one of my favorite SJP styles.
SJP Tartt Mary Janes
$385 via Neiman Marcus
Sarah made a return appearance to The View in a pair of much more casual SJP Tartt Mary Janes. I’m not sure if this white leather version with glitter heel ever made it to stores, but a full-glitter version is widely available.
SJP Taylor Metallic Pumps
$355 via Zappos
Ever the fan of metallics and the arts, SJP wore these beautiful SJP Taylors on the red carpet of the New York City Ballet Fall 2015 Gala back in October. Her gown is Zuhair Murad.

SJP is just too fabulous!
She has the most fun with fashion, I can tell!
Ditto. Everything (well, nearly everything–there have been a couple of bumps) she wears totally works, and wearing her own shoes–well they are really nice and affordable so no reason NOT to wear them.
love her!
I love SJP, but that Met Gala outfit was an epic fail.
The outfit was weird yes, but I love how she takes risks, instead of playing it safe.
love love love sjp! what an icon!
The tote in photo 1 is also from her line. Its really nice.
Aacckkk! I am SJP—those are MY initials (I often go by that online) & I had no idea the above SJP had a whole line of everything with that name!! Now I look like some sort of wannabe, when I rightfully own those letters, too! (I do love Sarah Jessica Parker, though—I adore how she truly dresses for things, really puts effort into it & I appreciate that in this day & age.) I do love how she has continued with whimsical ideas in her designs—fashion should be fun. I guess I need to check out her whole line.
