Just Can’t Get Enough: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and her Céline Belt Bag

A very funny friend of mine once referred to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as a “self-esteem serial killer,” and although I’ve never been the type to proactively hold myself to the beauty standards of those who are beautiful for a living, I have to admit that she kind of had a point. That’s because not only is Rosie beautiful, but she has such preternaturally perfect “model off duty” style that her very existence feels unfair. You should be able to have one or the other; both is greedy.

The rest of us mere mortals may not have access to Rosie’s genetic lottery winnings, but her simple, sophisticated style is a little easier to come by. She tends toward modern cuts in neutral colors and luxurious fabrics, and lately she’s bee finishing her looks with the Céline Belt Bag. I’ve long thought the Belt to be one of the most underrated day bags out there, and frankly, I’m glad Rosie’s finally showing it the appreciation it deserves.

The Belt Bag, like much of Rosie’s recent wardrobe, is simple and luxurious. It’s distinctively detailed, but not in a way that feels busy or effortful; if someone saw it who’s not a bag lover, they wouldn’t immediately know who made it, but they’d probably have a feeling it cost a pretty penny. And it does: the Belt Bag starts at $2,400 via Céline. Below, check out all the ways we’ve spotted Rosie carrying it recently.

That bag is pure class!

I can’t believe how good she looks in those long, sumptuous wraps and cardigans. If I wore that out, it’d look like I was walking around in an overwhelming bathrobe. Not fair!

LOL! Truth. It’s all about the legs…when you have long legs like that you can look gorgeous in the long wraps and dusters.

Kate

Very nice. A Celine bag that hasn’t yet reached a terminal level of over-exposure.

“Self-esteem serial killer” for real!

celine had one good bag – the luggage title
the rest are all blah

Not a fan of a bag that takes two hands to open it. One hand to hold it, the other to open it. All I see with those hanging leather straps is a droopy handlebar mustache. Pass for me.

Chris

Yes, agreed. I thought the same thing.

From some angle, this bag is aces.
From another angle, it looks like a catfish.
I am torrrrrnnn.

The only thing I don’t like is the horrible placement of the Celine logo. It’s conspicuously inconspicuous. Why isn’t it located under the flap?

Shawn

It’s so true that beauty is in the eye of the beholder because this woman would never kill my self esteem. I’m certain you’re gorgeous too!
