Models Make Their Way Around PFW with Bags from Louis Vuitton and Saint Laurent

Naturally!

All the modeling greats have assembled in Paris for the final days of Paris Fashion Week–Kate, Karlie and Kaia (no Kendall though, curiously)–but alas, it all ends on Tuesday! Breathe in your last gasp of Fashion Week glory and grandeur. Parisian fashion houses are being heavily favored, bag-wise, which should come as a surprise to no one. Stateside, celebs are relying more on Gucci, Stalvey and Hermès for their press and promo needs. But what bags are you favoring as we make a mad dash into spring?

Astrid S

Norwegian singer Astrid S. carried this embellished Gucci Dionysus Bag to Late Night With Seth Meyers.

Kate’s bag is actually a new bag called the 61.

Master Green

Yes!

marla

you should be writing this column Bryan! you have a very sophisticated knowledge of handbags 🙂

Bryan Lepe

Thank you. I’m usually made fun of because I can identify bags by seeing a handle and a corner of a bag lol or read date codes from multiple different designers. I have the time to do so. I don’t know if I would even be considered or if I’d be met with opposition considering I am a male and just the other day I had another poster shit talk me because I’m male. Sigh. One step forward 3 steps back. It would broaden the blog though to include a males perspective and maybe even target a new audience. Who knows. Thanks for that though :)<3

Catherine

Forget whoever that is! You’re fierce to be able to do that and we’d be lucky to have your perspective and expertise. Hopefully you’ll think about it and can contribute! I’m a long-time reader, intermittent commenter and I really hope PB moderators/content creators read this and reach out to you!

Yes! We all would love to see you write for Purse Blog! You have all this knowledge about the smallest details on handbags! It’s fascinating to learn new things Don’t listen to the people who just drop in to be critical or nasty. I’ve been dealing with 2 this week! I’m hoping they’ll get bored & move on. We know who you are Bryan, & that’s all that matters!?

Candee

I would love to see you write for this blog! You are a great writer! You are witty, fun, kind and have tons of personality! Also, you do know a lot about bags and what you don’t know you can research.

Bryan seems to be always “in the know” – like a living, breathing Wikipedia for Handbags! Lol ?
Hopefully HR is paying attention!?

Marla

that truly saddens me because half of the design houses employ MALE designers to create these masterpieces! I would appreciate a male viewpoint on luxury bags. In fact my male physician colleague (and BFF) gives me such good advise on my work bag purchases, including perspectives on functionality, trendy Vs classic nature and history of the brand 🙂 It would improve the inclusivity of Purseblog to include a male columnist.

Bryan Lepe

I literally said that to her. I usually don’t reply to people that say that but I told her it’s funny you say that becuse most creative directors of houses that YOU own in your collection, are in fact men. You therefore OWN A BAG DESIGNED BY A MAN. BYE.

?4ladyfox

Hah! That gave her something to think about! People can be amazingly small minded, can’t they!

Sparky

Kate Moss always looks great. She banks on the classics.

Robert Goode

I don’t care for the bag but I NEED Hillary Duff’s coat.

FashionableLena

I need Karlie’s entire outfit and Hilary’s coat. I’ll take Astrid’s jacket as well. The bags? Meh.

I really would not lose sleep if you took a break from covering the Housewives or anyone photographed at Craig’s
