You may be familiar with Tinashe‘s R&B career—she dropped a couple of new singles over the summer. But I’ve only just discovered that she’s on this season of Dancing with the Stars. This probably accounts for her sudden boost in visibility. Recently, Tinashe has been everywhere, carrying her Gucci Ophidia Top Handle to all of Hollywood’s hotspots—Craig’s, Delilah, Poppy and more. The entire Ophidia line is currently having a major moment with celebrities, and it’s easy to grasp why. It’s more subdued than the Marmont line (and most of what Gucci has put forward in the last two to three years) and therefore more versatile. But it’s still unmistakably Gucci.
The Ophidia line includes a ton of different bag styles, from mini crossbodies to big, roomy totes, and this top handle is a pretty happy medium. It’s a little bigger and roomier than you might expect for a bag that has so often seen the interior of The Club, but it’s still small enough not to look out of place. A right functional choice, we’d say. Let’s see how Tinashe wears her Ophidia.

There used to be a blue?!? If they do it again, I’d probably be all over that!
Yes, many years ago (late 1980s) they had a dark blue and white shoulder strap Gucci and I owned it for years and then gave it to my sister in law. Neither of us knew then style would come back. They had many styles offering both the brown and blue coated canvas prints with leather trim. A few years ago they had blue in Las Vegas Gucci
