Emmy Rossum Adopts a New Dog with an A.L.C. Bag at Her Side

Actress Emmy Rossum made an appearance at a No Kill LA Animal Adoption event over the weekend, where she picked up a new pup and provided the animal rescue organization with a little bit of always-needed publicity via Twitter and Instagram (as well as slightly more traditional media outlets). As you can see, she carried an A.L.C. Davenport Small Crossbody Bag especially for the occasion. You can find Emmy’s bag for $545 at Barneys, and you can find adorable rescue dogs in dire need of forever homes at your nearest local animal shelter.

We saw Emmy carrying this bag back in September with a less casual ensemble. This versatile little black crossbody bag is a great option for everyday use, and it seems to be holding up quite well. You can browse Emmy’s most impressive arsenal of designer handbags in “The Many Bags of Emmy Rossum.” No word on what she’s named her new pup just yet, but she may still be taking suggestions on Twitter.

At first glance, thought this was a Ted Baker bag! simple and chic, i would definitely wear this. http://alovelysideproject.com

That sounds like a lovely event to go to and such a cute new puppy! I really like how Emmy tends to go for less known and more American based brands for her handbag choices:)

Kudos to Emmy Rossum for adopting and to you for sharing this story. By all means, shop for purses, adopt from your local shelters and rescues. Thanks, you made my day.
