Haute Couture Week officially ended last Thursday, but all the pre-Grammys celebrations over the weekend provided us with tons of great bags to fill in the gaps. As a teenager, I used to love tucking in for the night with a good awards show, but as an adult of a certain age, I can think of a lot of other things to do with four hours on a Sunday. Even so, I’m glad Billie Eilish won all of the awards. The Grammys don’t always get it right, but I still enjoy it when they validate my music choices.

I understand the links being Fashionphile or wherever the agreements are with, but I wonder is there a reason why many times the bag styles are not mentioned? It just seems odd for a bag-spotting post to say “little Louis Vuitton” for example and not mention the model name (Montaigne in this case, but other than Chanel Boy/Reissue, I see styles skipped a lot on these celebrity posts). In the end many people look at these to get ideas, no? Pretty annoying to later have to go Google a bag we like on a Purse blog post.
At first I thought it was just because of the affliate links but no, when it’s Chanel, the bags get a name, even if the link is a generic “shop Chanel bags at Fashionphile”.

Shame on Martha, distracted with her phone and crossing the crosswalk!!! Phone distractions have been the leading cause of pedestrian accidents in NYC.
Nicole Murphy has demonstrated how easily the flap gets dogeared by the oddly placed handles. Does make a nice weekend travel bag though.
Yes, that is one of my biggest pet peeves. I detest it when ppl walk across any crosswalk at the mall, grocery store, etc. without looking. They assume the driver is going to stop, but that’s not always the case; driver’s get distracted and don’t always see a pedestrian until it’s too late.
