We’re well into spring/summer sale season, but pre-fall bags are not quite in stores yet, which makes this kind of a weird time for shopping. Lucky for us, it also makes it a great opportunity to be proactive; several major online retailers let you pre-order lots of the upcoming season’s bags, and there are some gems to be found right now, even if they won’t arrive at your doorstep for a few weeks.
I’m an instant-gratification sort of girl in most things, but pre-ordering is a good idea if you’re hoping to get your pick of colors in a very of-the-moment bag (the Chloé Drew or Faye, for instance), or if you’ve got your sights set on a print or fabrication of a particular bag that’s clearly seasonal and likely produced in limited quantities. (Fendi fans know all about that.)
To help you get exactly what you want, I shopped around at several of the biggest pre-order purveyors on the Internet to find the pieces I think are likely to become scarce once they’re available. If you love one of these, best to act now rather than hesitate and go without.
Balenciaga Marble bag is divine. I wasn’t a fan of Phillip Lim’s marble print bags, but this one looks so authentic.
Really gorgeous. Love it.
No worries here….I don’t like any of them. It’s nice to see Mansur Gavriel coming up with a new design but that brand and the lemming like following has no appeal to me. Sorry MG fans. Nothing personal but that bandwagon is full and I’ll take a pass.
Omg that Prada bag! I need that one!
Givenchy does the best prints…..love that little Luc!
This Chloe tote looks great too http://designerbags.me/item/s-p-product-0459498265468/chloe-alison-spotted-calf-hair-and-leather-tote
the fendi one is already sold out 🙁
Which Fendi one do you want? I work in the Short Hills store & can order pieces for you! Call 973-564-5780, ask for Michele????
I don’t really like any of these bags…Makes me realise once more that I am only into classics/classical styles.
The Balenciaga Marble bag was what convinced me to click on the article but the more I looked at it, the more it looked like a close up of a slice of blue cheese.
