The Telfar Shopping Bag is arguably one of the most talked about (and highly coveted) bags of the year. And while this bag isn’t exactly new, it has finally received the mainstream attention it deserves after years of being spotted on the arms of celebs and those in the know. The popularity of Telfar’s famous shopping bag has grown exponentially since designer Telfar Clemens relaunched the bag, dubbed the Bushwick Birkin, in 2017 after winning the 2017 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund.
Clemens perfected the design of the bag and aimed to make more quantities of it available as the brand has consistently had an issue with its supply, and even 3 years ago the bag would instantly sell out. As the brand has gown in popularity the team has continued to work to make the bag more readily available and they even boast the slogan “not for you — for everyone”, which emphasizes the brand’s focus on inclusivity and accessible fashion for all. The brand made good on that promise this year when it launched its Bag Security Program, which allows fans to pre-order styles of their choice on a given day/time. And while these pre-orders take weeks or months to arrive, the brand still operates its drop business model as well.
After winning the CFDA 2020 American Accessories Designer of the Year award, it appears that there is no stopping Clemens and the Telfar brand, and that growth even includes an anticipated collaboration with UGG. The brand recently teased a look at the newest iteration of its beloved Shopping Bag, which is given a cozy makeover in UGGs signature shearling. We all love a good shearling bag and if you’re wondering how to get your hands on one of these bags you’re in luck because Telfar is giving everyone the chance to own one.
This coming Monday (11/30), for 24 hours only, beginning at 9am shoppers can pre-order their bag on Telfar’s website. Just like the brand offered back in August with its Bag Security Program, this pre-sale allows the bags to be made to order, meaning they won’t arrive for months. The brand announced this via their Instagram, stating that UGG x Telfar Shopping Bags ordered during the presale will arrive between March and June 2021. While that does seem like an incredibly long time to wait, the bags are sure to sell out when they launch, and this is the only way to guarantee the UGG x Telfar bag of your choice.
I don’t understand the appeal of this brand. The design is ordinary. I’d take the puppy over the bag.
I agree. Who says it’s “highly coveted”? Is this based on market research, hype, or wishful thinking?
Get $192 of an hour from Google!… Yes this is Authentic as I just got my first payout and was really awesome because it was the largest number of $24413 in a week…(b7677)… It seems Appears Unbelievable but you won’t forgive yourself if you do not check it

You sound ignorant. Take one second to Google the brand before typing the first thing that comes to your mind.
Some people are just rude, just ignore it. I find it amazing how quickly these bags sell out and that so many people love them and they are an affordable bag that a number of people can afford and they are influencers and celebrities carrying!
Omg
I love this ad with the adorable puppy!
I’m not a big fan of shearling on bags but love the silhouette of this tote. I want one in the leather material
the instagram baddies are going to eat this one up. if they release a boot as well, they’re likely going to find a lot of success with the collab.
If the pre-order ships March-June, then the timing is off – who wants to carry shearling in Spring/Summer!
I will! I love it! J/K about the timing, but I will snuggle/ treasure it until i BUST it out of its bag in celebration of the first day of NY Fall Fashion week. Even though it will still probably be 80 degrees outside.
…mmmmmhmmmmm, genuine suede and lined? Nice!
I can’t explain why I love this tote, but I do! I’m not a fan of their other regular totes, but this caught my eye. And for $290 it was a steal!
