Pumpkin Spice Lattes Are Back at Starbucks and We’re Celebrating With These Bags

If you’re into matching your bag to your drink then we've got you covered...

Summer 2019 flew by in the blink of an eye, but I’m certainly not complaining because autumn is fast approaching, and it’s my favorite season of the year. I have been eagerly anticipating its arrival as DC is known for being brutally hot and humid during the summer. Autumn is always a nice reprieve when the seasons change. Along with all of the fun changes in fashion that come with fall (think: boots, scarves, and oversized sweaters), I love autumn because I get to indulge in my favorite drink: the pumpkin spice latte.

Ever since the PSL debuted at Starbucks in 2003, this drink has been a seasonal staple for me during fall months. I especially love to wear bags that compliment my PSL once the temperatures dip and the leaves start to change colors. Matching a handbag to a caffeinated beverage may seem odd to some, but here at PurseBlog, we know that nothing is off-limits if it shows off how cute our handbags are. I love the LV Starbucks thread on the PurseForum and I always really enjoy looking at photos of handbags and accessories paired with Starbucks drinks. There is something so visually satisfying about your drink not only serving up your daily caffeine dosage, but also acting as an accessory to your ensemble.

As an American who is stereotypically obsessed with all things pumpkin-flavored (much to my Irish husband’s utter confusion), I am no stranger to the pumpkin spice latte. Luckily for me and all of the PSL fans out there, Starbucks released the famed fall drink earlier than ever before. This year as of yesterday, August 27th, you can order your favorite seasonal beverages, which admittedly, it may feel a little strange to order pumpkin-flavored items before Labor Day arrives, but who am I to say no? Starbucks has even decided to shake things up a bit by adding a pumpkin cold brew into the mix. As an iced coffee drinker, I am super excited about this new addition to the autumnal drink line up and will be indulging ASAP.

I’ve found some really cute bags for fall that I think will pair perfectly with my pumpkin spice lattes. Whether you are into matching your bag to your drink or not, I think you will covet these beauties.

I missed out on the TB Radziwill in bright yellow. Looking at web site this bag comes in several sizes and a small shoulder version. Classic look at very good price and quality. The LV and Gucci are on my wish list, but I truly like all of these. Patricia Nash is offering her Viana Tote with an endangered Boelen Python image wrapped along the bottom with a snake scale interior. I’ve got it saved in my cart, but the recent post with the nano Fendi and now this Radziwill has got me signing up for overtime at work getting ready for Fall

Oh the Radziwill…I try it on every time I come across one IRL! But I keep pausing to wonder if it feels a little more “mature” than I want to be right now (i.e. reminds me of something the Queen would carry). I was just in a TB store yesterday and the smaller version doesn’t give off the same vibe. Very cute. So…are you going to stop me or enable me??? Maybe the color matters, too. Tan is a little less harsh than the black version. Thoughts?

I love all your larger bags. I am a tote person and I can’t stand the minis. Thanks.

Definitely adding the TB Lee Radziwill to my bag buys for Fall, but in the Croc-embossed leather in the colors Norwood and Zinc. Soooooo nice!

Celine has a nano luggage tote this season that I think should be part of this list, so here you go.

Just kidding, apparently it won’t let me upload a photo.

I am going through this circle bag craze at the moment so I am really liking the Ted Baker. That said, I am not too crazy over the suede pocket because suede gets dirty easily and rarely stands wear and tear. Reminds me of Chloe Pixie. Before I could get my hands on Pixie, it was discontinued. The unadjustable strap was too long for me anyway as I am petite.
