The Best Bags in the Wild We Spotted in Atlanta Last Week

Santa's got a brand new bag...

BITW Atlanta Late November 19

We’re heading south once again to Georgia’s capital to see what southern belles were carrying as the start of the holiday season kicked off. Each time we spend an afternoon strolling around ATL, we’re more and more impressed with the variety of bags. Today we’re bringing you a little bit of everything from affordable indie bags to fan favorites like the Dior Saddle bag and the Louis Vuitton Alma BB.

As the calendar turns to December and the winter solstice is on the horizon, it seems that southerners have put their colorful bags aside in favor of neutrals…at least this week! We’ve also got a surprise guest in a bold red suit. Check out a fresh set of handbags seen out and about in Atlanta below.

Umm Santa kind of fine…. I love the diverse bags!! Not all just one brand or spending level!

Santa wins it all for me

So in other words, the most basic b*tch bags in the wild lol

Rebecca Minkoff would be more appealing without that clasp…all I can think about is a dog leash or something found in a bin at a hardware store. It seems to be too long sometimes as well as she uses it on just about every style and size which doesn’t always sit right. I look at her bags when I see in stores because the bag itself is nice but put it back every time because of that stupid clasp.

I think it’s RM’s copy of the LouLou and the clasp on this bag was deliberately chosen to be vertical and similar in size to the YSL. She often copies or reinterprets designer bags.

I do always wonder about some extreme reinterpretations RM and MK tend to do. Obviously it is legal. But it doesn’t feel right.

The picture of the Alma BB has renewed my interest in it.

I feel the strap changes the vibe of Alma for the better. I couldn’t use it until added a strap. And it has been one of the most used bags for 10+ years. I don’t really use the strap but it makes Alma so much livelier, to me. (Mine is MM)

Mine too!

I want one in the last 10years. I want the one in epi leather. Its just not on my priority list that is why i havent bought it yet.
