25 Bags that Prove Spring Prints Go Way Beyond Traditional Florals

The luxury accessories market is always expanding, and in an environment where competition for customers is fierce, choices abound and shoppers only really want to carry certain things, it can get a little tricky to stand out from the crowd. Fashion brands are irrepressible, though, and their latest bid to capture consumer attention is via the use of bold prints.

Releasing new colors of a popular bag every season is all well and good, but many shoppers want something that feels a bit more special and new; that’s especially true of brands’ most loyal clients, who are less likely to be inspired to purchase a second or third version of a bag already in their closets just because it now comes in grey. Prints, on the other hand, offer a de facto limited-edition option because brands rarely make them for more than a single, seasonal release.

A fun print offers a bit of novelty without going for the full-on kitsch of a bag designed with only novelty in mind, and because most women dress primarily in neutrals in their everyday lives, the bags are far more versatile than you might think. (I can attest to this personally: I carried a blanket-print PS1 almost every day for several years.) Below, check out over two dozen of our favorite seasonal options for spring.

Oi… my eyes hurt!!!

Sparky

Some work better than others but what fun! I like how each is doing their own thing.

Personally, I stick with contemporary brands when it comes to major prints. I get bored with them (the prints, not my monochromatic bags) after a few months so spending thousands just doesn’t make sense.

If I had money to blow, I’d definitely buy that Prada Inside bag.

Stina Sias

That tie-dye is fantastic

The Coach is a Hell Nawwww.
The Valentino and Vic Beckham, on the other hand, yes.
