The calendar might read February, but in the fashion industry, spring has sprung. Take a peek in the New Arrivals section of your favorite retailer and you’ll likely see scores of Spring 2016 pre-orders; if you tend to like seasonal embellishments and variations instead of basic black, it’s time to start making some decisions about what your wardrobe will look like in the coming months.
Because we have the time for this sort of thing (it’s our job, after all), we searched pre-orders far and wide to find the best runway pieces and gone-in-a-flash seasonal versions of new designs and popular bags alike. Below, check out our results–most of these bags will be gone long before sale season, so if you fall in love, we’d suggest making it official ASAP.

So much gorgeousness here: the floral applique dot-com. Studded Givenchy Gale. The Chloe multi-color fringe is great to look at, but fringe on a front flap no fun to get into. The suede Lanvin. /sigh/. Great post- thank you for this!
With the exception of the Mansur Gavriel bag, these are the most unimaginative and tacky bags I have seen in quite some time.
OMG! This is a march of pure fugly! Except for the beautiful Gucci Dionysis and the plan Mansuer Gavriel bag, these are painful on the eyes. Tacky, tacky, tacky.
The studded nightingale is truly stunning.
Just all very beautiful… I wanted to buy the Chloe Faye patchwork this week however with the pre-order they don’t charge your card until it arrives, and I think that’s in May. And that’s the issue for me. As if I could hold $3,500 or whatever it is in my account for that long!! Ha. So I had to give it a miss and I got the Chloe Hudson in the suede from Net-a-Porter who charged my card immediately. The obstacles we face ladies. xx
The Loewe is stunning. Jonathan Anderson is doing amazing work for that brand.
I don’t want to sound rude but these may be the ugliest bags I have ever seen. They all look so cheap and tacky.
Yes. These bags are incredibly unattractive. It’s hard to say which is the worst but that Chloe multicolor tassel monstrosity, the pure mess of the Valentino and the art project gone wrong Fendis are certainly contenders.
I don’t find these bags ugly, but I just can’t imagine spending thousands on something that can only be worn with a limited number of outfits.
Loving the Tory Burch just don’t know about quality.
That Valentino printed leather bag is gorgeous!
