Friday was the first day of spring, and even though it snowed all day in New York City, we pressed on through the weekend anyway, mostly because we didn’t have a choice. That’s all over now, though, and we are determined to start the first full week of the new season on a nice note: with over two dozen bags that positively scream “SPRING!!”
Although I’m a proponent of wearing pretty much whatever makes you happy whenever you feel like it, most people will want to confine bags this light and feminine to the current season. They do indeed conjure up thoughts of garden parties and Easter dresses, but realistically, you can wear them right on through summer. Just don’t pair them with dark denim–the color transfer is forever, in most cases.

What a pretty collection of springtime bags you’ve assembled, Amanda. And in a wide range of prices, too… something for everyone’s budget. I adore the handle on the M2Malletier Fleur du Mal clutch… it’s reminiscent of a Japanese torii gate (the gate at the entrance of a Shinto shrine). I wonder if that was their inspiration?
I find looking at this post kind of calming–is that weird? The colors are just so serene.

I’ll stick up for the Skagen–it’s been around for a couple of years! It’s similar to the idea of the Loewe bag, but I believe it came first.

I like most of these bags a lot. I find that I’m drawn to the pretty shades of blues and pinks. I really love the Lina Ricci Marche tote and the Linea Pelle Grayson Bar Bag. I will more than likey buy them both for casual summer outfits. The Loeffler Randall is cute as heck too.
