Until now, The Many Bags Of has featured celebrities and the bags we’ve spotted them carrying while out and about. Today, our popular feature is shifting gears to feature some of the most stylish ladies of Lucky Magazine.
We are Lucky Magazine addicts, especially since our friend Eva Chen took over as Editor-in-Chief. Since her arrival, the magazine has moved to the forefront of fashion lovers’ minds, with an approachable feel to the features we love. We follow the magazine closely and have gotten to virtually know some of the girls that work there. With style, wit and jobs that so many envy, we wanted to see what the ladies of Lucky Magazine carry to their Times Square offices on a daily basis.
This week, take a trip to the Lucky offices to see some of the most fabulous ladies and the bags they carry to work!

Hi Megs, very nice post!
I just bought a Gucci Swing Leather Tote that was featured on one of your previous posts, I love the bag, but find myself needing a bag base shaper for it. I wonder if you could recommend a reliable website that can custom-make quality bag base shapers. Thanks a lot!!
So glad you like this post!
As for the Swing Tote, happy to hear you love it. Do you find the bottom is drooping a bit? Let me look into some possible solutions for you!
Yes, the bottom is not structured at all, but everything else is perfect. I got the large one in dark orange 🙂
Thank you so much for your help!
I want to get one in June ( was aiming for Taupe in Large)
Such a great post, I loved this!! – It’s great to also get a sneak peak of some of the writers & editors. Please keep this going!
Me too! Love finding out what people carry and why they bought it.
We will definitely have more posts like this in the future!
This has to be my favorite “The Many Bags of” post! It’s easy to relate to the ladies compared to the normal celebrities, socialites, models and reality stars you usually post. 🙂 Hope you can do more of this type of post! 🙂
So glad you like it! We love seeing ‘real’ people and what they carry to work too. There will be more!
Yes, “real people” with jobs especially in the fashion industry, who might even take the subway to work while carrying their designer bags, lol. This is definitely easier to relate to. I always think people that work in fashion goes to work looking like the movie The Devil Wears Prada. It’s always such a nice surprise when they look normal.
OHHHMMMMAAAAHHHHGGGGAAAAAAAWWWWWWW- the G.O.A.T of “The Many Bags…” posts!!! Love, love, LOVE!!!
Your post just made me LOL!
OMG…Lucky pls hire more diverse women/men. Sucks this is how the fashion world is…
Great post Megs and great pics Vlad! The ones that I really liked are:
The Celine (oooh that RED!!), The Chanel Jumbo, The clare vivier, the Givenchy Antigona and the Fendi 2 Jours.
two questions Megs:
What color and size is that Fendi 2 Jours Bag?
What size is the Givenchy Antigona?
Thank you
Rashmi
fendi 2jours is medium and pretty sure the antigona is medium as well (but has gotten a bit of slouch with time)
Great Post! Love how diverse everyone’s bags are. 🙂
Love, Love, Love this post! I feel it’s a real peek into the daily life behind the scenes. Unedited, and candid. Would love to see more of these type of articles. InStyle, or J. Crew perhaps?
There will def be more!
LOVE this! So interesting to see non-celeb bags and so fun to read why they love them. Can’t wait for more!
I definitely enjoyed reading that. Great idea guys! Nice to see bags of “real” people against celebrities only. Hope to see more like this!
I like that there is a lot of diversity in their bags. There is also a range of prices, which shows that you can be fashionable without spending $3,000+.
Ah, I would’ve loved to see Eva [Chen]’s pick though!
Me too!!! Is the first photo Eva Chen? She loves Chanel and that’s a Chanel bag….Just wonderin’
I guess we’ll have to feed our curiosity with her Instagram feed for now first, ha!
We will be sure to have another feature on Eva Chen soon!
I’ll keep my eyes peeled for that! Hopefully there’ll be more posts like this in the future. It was so fun to read.
OBSESSED with the Reed Krakoff Perforated Gym Bag. I need that in my life!
I agree with Sophia, this is so fun! I don’t believe the woman with the lunchbag though. I mean I see that she doesn’t wear much makeup (she doesn’t need it) but what about the other essentials???
Megan O’Neill isa awesome and she has the best job! I love all of the beauty items/cosmetics on her desk, I’m so jealous!!! Oh and cheers to GOAT FUR!!!
Clearly, magazine publishing pays better than it used to. Except, perhaps, for that one poor girl with the goat hair bag.
Actually, this feature illustrates exactly why I will not be renewing my subscription to Lucky. The lack of diversity among the staff, combined with an absolute disregard for what most women like to wear and buy has turned this once-interesting magazine into an elitist rag that I no longer care to read. I should have seen this coming when Ms. Chen said in an interview that she wants to reach the reader who can put a $3,000 handbag on her credit card without worrying about the bill. What a disappointing editor she has turned out to be!
But it’s so nice that they scoured the bowels of Lucky magazine to find one black person. At least they tried. Comment here is dripping with sarcasm just in case it doesn’t translate
“Oh, toss that poor Chen dear a bone! That’s why it’s called ‘Lucky’!”
Eye roll and smh to the vapid twat who carries a bag because it “makes her feel important.” Really?!? So sad.
I really liked this post… makes me want to go buy a Lucky magazine!
Loved the post!!
An awesome, awesome post! Loved it, thank you!
wonderful tip, Samorga. Many thanks for mentioning it. I bought a smaller version from Vienna airport but I could really use something for the larger bags, Baywaters in particular have been known to swallow my keys 😉
I have missed this post earlier. I truly love it, it has got a REAL feel to it.
Late with the comments but i agree, I LOVE this post. I woudn’t mind a quick pic of all their stuff inside their bags but that’s b/c i’m nosy. Lynette Pone McIntyre’s writing is so cute. If i could make that a font I would. I really like Hayley Phelan’s Celine Blade bag. I never considered that bag before but its different when you actually see it on a person (her outfit is so cute as well). Also, a great bonus about this post, you can snoop around and see what people that work in fashion’s desk/office looks like. I’d love to raid Megan O’neill’s desk.
Loved this!! Thanks for the interesting read. Loved seeing everyone’s handwriting too… so much personality in this post.
